I agree. Cutler is better as well as more exciting than Orton. No doubt.

But that wasn't the point, or the question. I was responding to Digits' assertion that the Bears would have won 9 or less of their previous 31 games without Cutler, and Panda's assertion that they would be 2-14 without him.

how do you think they would have done without Cutler? I think we saw what happened when he went down.

Which of these areas were seven games better in 2008 than they have been since Cutler arrived?

Pass rush? We didn't have Peppers in 08.

Oline? You think the OL was so superior in 2008 than it is now that it would directly caused a seven game difference (2-14 compared t othe 9-7 that actually happened)?

Your're insane. You and WOLE are not Bears fans, you're just Cutler fanboys.

Weak.

Strength of schedule, the Lions and Packers were not as good those years, our offensive line was better. Oguneley, Alex Brown, and Tommie Harris played decent.

....

ok it sounds like just a bunch of excuses. Hot damn how did we even win any games that year? Our team sucked. Maybe Rex isn't as bad as people made him out to be. Or the defense will play well no matter who we plug in? Really there are no excuses this year. They better go deep in the playoffs.

We're talking about if we didn't have Cutler. If we never traded for Cutler, Caleb Hanie wouldn't have been the starter. It would have been either Orton or someone else.

So without Cutler, the last 30 games woud have been 9-21 at best, even though we were 9-7 with Orton with basically the same team. Orton and Grossman had winning percentages with the Bears probably as good or better than Cutler has.

Just to be sure... are you saying that Cutler and Orton are equal as QBs?

The true sign of an intellectual cripple - can't win the debate so resort to personal abuse. You're even more weak and pathetic than I thought.

Orton and his ankle injuries every year. Bears would choose have Hanie over Orton.

ah ok. I agree with you. We would have won more than 9 games with Orton or Rex Grossman

Name these so called better qb's. Last time I checked Cutler led this offense to the top of the NFL until the injury happened and your hero Hanie stunk up the joint.

No we would have not, both of them are injury prone, and the offense line would have killed them because they have no mobility and they would still passing to smurfs.

Emery would launched both of those clown QB's off the team. rofl
