I know who I want as a HC, if Thibs gets moved/fired, and I think he's a better coach than Thibs too. His name is not Fred.

Oh the suspense! LOL, and the thing is, anyone that has known me for 6 years would know. I have a total crush on this guys schema and coaching style.

Undisputed might know who I'm talking about, so would that guy who made a post about the Bulls injuries potentially being an inside conspiracy to get players rest.

:) Hint: He was Steve Kerr's #1 target for assistants while going to Golden State, and missed because the guy did not want to just go from Assistant to Assistant.

Some of you would like him. He likes big offense, has a transition playbook, and is also good with defense. Hell, he's good everywhere with schema and building programs.

:nope:

I don't buy into ESPN-type hype. Dig deeper. :)

And he's a Gar/Pax guy too, much more than any coach Pax has had. So that might cure a lot of the FO pains.

Hint #2. He was technically getting paid by the Bulls not all that long ago.

I have no idea who you're talking about, but when I googled who Kerr was targeting for assistants I came up with: David Blatt (lol), Andy Greer, and Nick Nurse. :elephant:

He's going to be the next generations Popovich, and everyone is sleeping on him.

You and I like different basketball play. I love dominating defenses, you like dominating offenses. But with a guy like Nurse, he'll take the core that the Bulls have, and make the most out of it, so we'll get a little of both.

Dominating offense doesn't win in this league.

That's not what I said though. Actually, I would say Nurse is more defensive minded and has the best transition play concepts I have ever seen. Concepts that work with players. Develops guys, motivates. I mean, he does everything. Everything Thibs doesn't do, Nurse does. And everything Thibs does well, Nick isn't far behind, depending on the core architecture of the team and how it gets further developed and designed.

Think about this .... after this game, how do you think Fred could do with the talent on the Bulls roster? Fred has a little bit of a Love affair going with IS, so this loss is ammo for him leaving, imo.

Hilarious. So now with this dude, it is just get rid of Thibs and if someone suggests a high school coach, BP is on board.

AG did say that this is NOT a Thib's vs Fred thing. The question is who is the best replacement for Thib's. One reason is the Iowa connection, which should help the management/coach relationship.

Another, is the fact that Fred actually played for the Bulls. Another is the fact that Fred has had Heart problems. Before you criticize me for that, that's the kind of thing that brings important perspective to the table.

You can look at the one recent game, imo, but his body of work has been pretty good over the recent body of work. He also has related to the players very well at the College program, which in today's NBA, I think is important.

This is really getting to be getting pretty insane. A heart condition is now somehow a strong point for Hoiberg? What about a coach who has hemmoroids? That doesn't bring a perspective on things as much? Someone better check into whether Freddie counts players minutes as a condition of employment:)

Yeah, good point, I can see that. That's called character. I like that. We need that on the Bulls, imo. I'm ready for something different than the strict army drill Sargent, which is what Thib's brings to the table, imo. I Love Thib's, I really do, I've just concluded that he can't take that next step relating to the players of today.

YOu are so very full of crap. "I LOVE THIBS"........ "I REALLY DO"............. Rubbish. You've been bagging on this guy ever since I have been on this board. That on the breath after you basically said that Thibs doesn't have "character", that he is a strict army DRILL SARGENT.

It would be one thing if you were just weak in your arguments which you certainly are. But now you make this lame assertion about "loving Thibs". Come-on BP...... At least summon enough huevos and MAN THE FUCK UP. You cannot stand Thibs.

But that's just it! He's not delivering. Sure, he has a great regular season winning %, but it's the post season that counts. You say the Bulls are a Business, right? Well, the bottom line for their Business is winning when it counts, right?

Right now, with his current body of work, he in below average when it comes to winning when it counts. We can talk about injuries, we can talk about minutes, but in reality, the only thing that matters is wins, right?

This is Thib's 5th year. He has yet to win when it counts. THIS IS THE BOTTOM LINE OF THE BULLS BUSINESS! The question that must be asked, is how many years should management go with Thib's NOT winning when it counts.

BUSINESS, is about performance. I don't know any elite management people that allow negative performance when it counts, let alone for multiple years. You ask what is another reason that Thib's should be let go?

It's simply..... for not delivering the Business bottom line when it counts. :dunno:

May be one of the lamest arguments ever on a message board........ ^^^^^^^^^^....... Is a business not about achieving success? Is a business not about winning more times than it loses? Is a business not about putting a winning product on the shelves for people to buy? What is Thibs winning percentage as a head coach. Methinks it is one of the top five best percentages of head coaches who have been in place over five years. That isn't "success"?

How many teams have won championships in the last five years? Name the coach who could have taken the Bulls team to a championship in those five years. Go ahead. Name him. Same players. Same injuries. Same dumb ass GM. Who is this coach?

YOu say that Thibs has FAILED as a business manager. Fact is that he hasn't failed. His boss and owner have failed. I can be the best damn platoon sergeant in the war, but if my company commander doesn't give me enough fire support and personnel, my shit is raggedy.

Its a moot question because I think that Paxson will get fired before Thibs does.

had a good laugh at this tweet

but at the same time i had to shake my head

the Bulls front office is catching all the heat and its not a good look for the organization

And that is exactly why Reinsdorf needs to fire Paxson. It is he who brought all of this bullshit on the organization and the sooner that Reinsdorf recognizes this the better. When you have a TEAM show the support for its coach that the Chicago Bulls have, it means a LOT and I think that Reinsdorf knows this. IF this comes down to a one on one match-up between Thibs and Paxson, I think that player respect and loyalty will win out in Reiny's mind and Paxson will lose that one-on-one.
