Can the Bulls go ahead and grease of the "Hire Brian Shaw" bandwagon?

Not.

Well Sam did conveintly leave out the fact that Krause hired Phil & Tex as the assistant, and not Collins. So Collins had an idea of what Krause was trying to do & basically tried to sabotage things for him by not playing the guys Krause went out and got.

The only real comparison I see in the situation is the disconnect with the GM. Other than that, the situations are apples and oranges. Thibs is beloved by his players and coaches, and even other players and coaches who've worked with him. He hasn't driven his star players into the ground or refused to play players out of spite.

This is why I feel Pax is the one who needs to go. He's meddled with every coach that he's had. He's a hot head and you can't have a hot head running your organization. It alienates the people under him, which we are seeing with Thibs now.

I agree entirely that if someone goes, it should be Paxson. It is getting pretty obvious that Chicago isn't big enough for the both of them. The thing that stands in the way for this to happen, though, is Reinsdorf's big time loyalty to his general managers. He let Phil go instead of jettisoning Krause. He kept Williams around on the White Sox way too long and he is still around fouling up the place.

So now, it is Paxson as the big bully on the block. So, I think that Thibs will be fired and they'll bring in some boy toy for Paxson just like Krause brought in after Phil was canned. We will then see an unnecessary disaster caused by nothing more than Paxson's big time chip on his shoulder and his utter failure to put a winning team together. He is the problem with the Chicago Bulls. He and Reinsdorf's failure to hold his GM's responsible for titles.

if the front offices issue with Thibs is how he manages players then i can't say anything

because its the truth, thibs overuses players....i mean the scouting report for Deng that leaked literally said "Chicago ran him into the ground" this is from inside real NBA circles

i also think he ran Noah into ground and is working on doing the same to our young about to be max player

its a legitimate beef and this coming from a person that is usually anti-PaxGar

Paxson is not leaving. Deal with it.

I will. COunt on it when the Bulls go into the toilet once again. I just don't suffer fools and Pax is a stupid fool.

I was 1-2 years old when firing of Collins happened... Can Bulls fans who were older at that time attest to the fact that Jackson was the clear replacement and everyone had an idea of what they're were getting? I just find that hard to believe.

I recall Collins being popular when he was coach here.

Miami firing Stan Van Gundy and Pat Riley taking over can kind of be seen as such..

If I am not mistaken, Jackson was the replacement Krause had in mind. Jackson, it is rumored, was Krause's informant while coaching under Collins. And nobody knew what Jackson could do and his potential...but Krause.

Krause and Scottie Pippen are the main contributions Krause made. How many GMs would have found Phil Jackson?

The last possession was a very good drawn up play. The two before it??? Complete shit.

Would have been nice to see a coach reel in that Djiang kid.

upsets happen in college but i'll take the L

i still want Freddy as coach....one game doesn't change my opinion on him as a coaching prospect

to me Thibs is gone regardless so it shouldn't even be a Thibodeau vs Hoiberg debate...it should be Hoiberg vs ???
