I think TT is making the right decision, if we're going to have a chance against Boston then Rose & Noah are going to need to play heavy minutes. Even if Rose & Noah came back we were still only a slim chance at this one.

I think you play Rose and Noah as much as you can tonight because you have a better chance of coming back against the Knicks than you do of beating Boston, even with them rested.

What the Knicks did tonight may be the most impressive behind-the-arc showing I've seen since Ben Gordon went 9 of 9 from 3 his last season in Chicago.

Who cares? They cut it to single digits like THREE times while they were both on the bench.

He pulled the damn plug with 8:00 minutes left..............................

He didn't pull the plug with 8 minutes left, the chance to bring them back in was with like 3 minutes left, but realistically your chances of winning when you're down 8 & they have the ball with 3 minutes to go is less than 10%.

I like it, we rode Deng hard last year for like 40 minutes a game and he broke down, would rather we lose a game or two but keep our guys rested this year.

Disagree, we match up well with Boston, I think we're like a 1 in 3 chance of a win. There's no way we were ever at those odds against the Knicks in the 4th.

They had a chance to win, and they pissed it away.

Nothing else can be debated.

Thibs has something to prove against Boston....Being that..you know..former team... So he's going to play his guys hard tomorrow..Whether or not it works is another story.

I think Thibs made the right decision...Rose and Noah going in hadn't helped a whole lot to this point....and the bench got the Bulls back in the game...reward the bench, help them build some confidence, rest Rose and Noah for tomorrow...

???

Carmelo doesn't stop the Knicks from making 2/3 of their threes tonight..and we'd still lose...and we'd have no future.....and no Noah...

So...Not sure where you're going w/ that.

Confidence? The bench is horrible. They need Boozer to get here already because when Rose and Gibson are on the bench, the team is HORRIBLE.

Why Thibodeau refuses to play Rose without Deng, Gibson, and Noah on the floor with him is beyond me.

Why would ANY team throw out that scrub lineup of Asik-Scalabrine-Johnson-Brewer/Korver-Watson.....for as long as they do..... makes ZERO sense.

Korver did a good jab tonight. 7-10 including 4-6 from 3 point range for 17 points. It was just too late.

That was garbage what Thibs did leaving his starters on the bench. i haven't been this upset after a Bulls game in a long time. You were within 8 points with 3+ minutes left in the game, and don't me give that garbage of rewarding the bench that is their Fing job. It was his god damn bench that made it a 20 point game in the first half. I would be insanely pissed off if I was at the game and you come to see Rose and Noah play and you have a chance to win the game with 3 minutes to go and they don't even get into the game. Even if they would of lost you still have to try to win the game tonight, if he was saving them to play against his old team and try to prove something he needs to go. I think this is the 3rd time in 4 games that people have noticed extended time on the bench for Rose. Also how about playing Rose and Korver at the same time for an extended period of time. All off season we talked about how Korver is gonna open up the floor for Rose and this mother ****** won't even put them on the court together. **** it, Im going to bed

What a home coming for me. At least I had great seats to witness this pos coach lose us this game. If only I was behind the bulla bench to rip him a 2nd vagina

Again... We need another "shooter/scorer/closer" kind of guy. Hopefully our front office was watching, along with the bulls fans who would rather have Deng than Carmelo (If there's even a possibility of him coming). Two good things came out of today's game. #1 Thibs may have given the bench some experience, which they're gonna need further down the road and #2 Maybe it's the best way to show your bosses that you're doing the best with what you have and "this is what you get if you don't make a trade for another closer and make me look like I dont know how to coach" situation. Coupled with the fact that they killed us at the three. I'm leaning more towards #2

C'mon maaaaaan. We gotta beat the Knicks. That's always a must win.

This game was the epitome of inconsistency. Boozer is missed.

Guys, quit being such over-reactionists...We weren't winning this game...plain and simple..you're not winning a game in which the other team makes 2/3 of their 3s unless they only shoot 10-12...the Knicks were 16-24...That's stupid and ridiculous. The season didn't hinge on this game...and the Knicks were on fire. You can blame Thibs all you want, but blaming him for sticking w/ the line-up that brought the team back into the game is as flawed as it can be, b/c those jokers brought us back, and no one will ever know if Rose/Noah would've made it any closer...and we still lost by 8 w/ the Knicks running the clock out the last 30 seconds...hell, if it was close, they would've made three 3's in that 30 second time span.

Chalk it up as a loss, and look to Boston tomorrow night.
