They had a chance to win, and they pissed it away.

Nothing else can be debated.

You have a chance to win with a 72 unsuited in poker too, doesn't mean you should go all-in on it. Thibs played the odds, I like it, the easiest thing to do would be to follow a rotation without thinking about the state of the game and the upcoming schedule, he showed he's adaptable which is a heck of a lot more than VDN showed in his entire two years here.

Good luck getting something like...logic...to pass in this debate...

It was his god damn bench that made it a 20 point game in the first half.

Actually Rose & Deng were -10 for the night, and that includes when they closed the gap in the third, so I'm pretty sure it wasn't just the bench out there when they made it a 20 point game.

I'm not saying let's fire TT. I'm saying he made a mistake. Why is that so hard to swallow?

The Bulls starters SAT for 3/4s of the 4th quarter in a SINGLE-digit game.

Thibodeau screwed it up tonight.

Anyway forget the coach, looking at the players Rose set his career high in assists and Deng equalled his career high in 3s made. Damn good signs going forward.

Dude in an 8 point game with 3 minutes to go you play your god damn All-start that couldn't be stopped in the second half and your best defensive of player who you just payed 12 mill a year for, not CJ Watson and a rookie from Turkey. I don't see how you guys can argue that CJ and Omar were a better option in that situation.

Thibs knows what he's doing. He left those guys out for a reason in which only he and his team know. I'm more concerned about making comebacks from 21 points a habit. And where are our shooters, I see Korver shedding skin a bit. Brewer as well. I'd like to see Rose, Korver, Noah, Brewer on the floor at the same time. Pick your heads up. The reality is we need pieces. I still like the direction we're headed in. The only problem is many other teams are headed in the same direction.

And I'm saying I don't think it was a mistake, it was a calculated move that will hopefully pay off down the track. Better chance in tomorrow nights game, less wear & tear on our key players, and hopefully play some of our bench guys into form. Was good to see Brewer get a bit more run and Korver to get going.

I remember last year when Deng was playing huge minutes there's obviously no one time when you can say "gee what a dofus, the coach really should have rested Deng" but him being in the top 10 in the league in MPG probably played a part in his injury. Managing guys minutes and resisting the temptation to ride your top guys chasing unlikely wins is a big part of being a good coach.

Way to completely dismantle a point that nobody is making. I'm not saying they were a better option to win the game, I'm saying no matter what team you put out there we're probably going to lose so it's a good chance for the coach to rest some key players.

I don't buy that. They are 4 games into the season. Pissing games away this early is a joke. THESE are the game you HAVE to win... not the games against Boston on a back-to-back... that's simply not smart to play your 4 best players ALL at the SAME times... from 31-34 minutes.....

The Bulls shot themselves in the foot tonight. They should be 1-3 right now after tonight and Detroit.

How can you say 8 point games are out of reach with that much time on the clock?

There were some bright spots. When is the last time the Bulls had 3 players with a double - double? Gibson had 18 points and 10 rebounds, Noah; 12 points, 13 rebounds, and Rose 24 points and 14 assists. There is a lot of balance on this team. Add Boozer to the mix and they will be a team to be reconned with.

If you guys keep looking at big picture then you know you have to try to win this game. You have boston on the road, then 2 games at home then a brutal west coast trip all with out Boozer, wins are going to be hard to come by. You have to try to win this game no matter what. Im sick of trying to fight back after that trip all year trying to get to .500.

Bulls fans should be disgusted after this game.

The team played HORRIBLE defense.

The rotations were late and just so so much bad to talk about here....

Watson was awful.

JJ was awful.

Asik was more awful than he was good.

Your four best players play 35 min or LESS???

and sit the last 8 minutes?!

You have your scrub second unit play together for about a 1/3rd of the game???

And you call an 8-point lead a "wide margin" in an up-tempo style??????

ughhhhhhhhhhhh

Horrible, disgusting, unacceptable game.

How can I say it? By not actually saying it, but by you putting words into my mouth. Read what I've said: "probably going to lose", "playing the odds", etc. That doesn't read to me at all like I said it was out of reach, just unlikely.

What does the time in the season have to do with what I wrote about players wearing down and getting injured? I'm not saying rest them up for the playoffs.
