We assembled a good team this year. We were first in the NHL for a long while and then it began to unravel before a strong finish and an impending loss to the future Nordiques. Get Hossa, Toews, Carcillo back to 100% and use the cap space remaining to our advantage. Oh yeah, and give everything we have to win the next game and then the next and so on... probably all in OT.

Sure Crawfords goals were weak, but credit Phoenix to. They get in the zone, and the throw the puck at the net. The Hawks on the other hand like to go in and be fancy. I'm not a big fan of Oduya right now, that Doan turnover was brutal.

Wellp I was right. Sucks though. It was just an up and down season. I didn't expect the Hawks to really do anything after that 9 game losing streak. Nothing's really changed, the problems still exist, the inconsistencies are what cost this team.

Seriously though, they haven't really outplayed us... we've been in control 90% of the series, they just find ways to get ahead, we finds ways to tie it, then they find ways to make Crawford look terrible in OT.

Yep. I pull like hell for them but I said it at the trade deadline that they should be a seller and not a buyer. Bad special teams, wildly erractic goaltending on a team thats capable of losing 9 straight games.....you just cant have a lot of faith in that regardless of spew that comes out of the player's mouths.

There's a lot of work to be done here....let's hope that Bowman can do the job.
