He said the Cubs will blow it like they always do, so he isn't happy if they prove him wrong.
I wonder how much he has riding on it.

I can't be convinced that Lackey was good enough. It's just not the case. Thank goodness other stuff happened.Lackey was not horrible. How many of those hits were ground balls that made it through holes in the infield? At least four of those hits were ground ball singles. Pitchers want to get ground balls. He got ground balls. It was just stupid luck that the balls found holes in the infield. We got that same luck in the top of the 9th with both of those singles that scored the tying and winning runs.

People do realize this is probably the greatest Cubs victory in my lifetime? Sure, they have clinched two NLCS but not in this fashion.
Glad you said that! I feel the same way but thought maybe I was just getting caught up in right now.

It was mine, too. They swept the Cardinals.
No, it's not about your opinion, it's about a bunch of us that have been cheering this team on here since 2013 and you and some others come on and shit in our cornflakes in a stressful game in a great, great series. Criticism is fine, intense negativity is bullshit.
Yeah, they were finding the gaps well. What's crazy, is all of the long balls this series, came off the Cubs' bats.

LMAO, they want to fire Bochy.
Not really. Giants don't hit the long ball.

Thank god for the cubs... no worries about the Bears at all.
