We have ZERO shot what so ever at Simmons even if this team continues to struggle. There's no way this team is going to go 0-30 the rest of the way and even if it continues on the same clip and it's going and wins 9-21 there's no way that a 36-46 team will sniff Simmons. The kid is going to be A Laker or a Celtic. There's no possibly way he gets to Philly.

Who are wing players that we could use if Chicago continues to play poorly the rest of the way if they were continue to play so poorly that the season is tanked for draft position. This team will probably end up winning about half it's game or so like the first half and be perfectly mediocre. So I'm guessing the Bulls will be 42-40 or 43-39. I see them at the most winning 16 or 15 of their last 30. Barely at or above .500 and a first round KO by Cleveland or Boston.

The Bulls should have traded Deng and tanked the season after Rose tore his ACL. The Bulls had a top 3 NBA coach, but undermined him all of last season before firing him.

Gar Forman and his handpicked Coach need to be removed at the conclusion of this season.

Good coaches develop players. That's the real issue. If you rely on a perfect roster every time, then that means you need the #1 or #2 player in the league to pretty much do the coaching for you.

As far as having the Number 1 or 2nd best player in the L, how do you think most teams win the championship. For example, see Phil Jackson and Steve Kerr.

I agree. Do you have a candidate in mind who you see as a guy to replace Hoiberg? I haven't thought much about the GM and Team Presidents job other than I would look at the top assistants at successful organizations.

THe thing is that Korver actually became a pretty good defender by the time that he left the Bulls because THibs demanded it of him. WHen Korver arrived in Chicago he was a one trick pony. I also think that it is easier for a player to become a decent defender than it is a shooter or scorer which I think requires more athleticism. Defense is more an attitude and toughness question. You can anticipate what the offensive guy is going to do and try to keep in front of hi and beat him to the spot that he wants to go.

I have nothing bad to say about McDermott because he is still young and has a chance to improve. But he needs to bust his ass to improve defensively if he is going to be more than a one trick off of the bench shooter.

Calls for Hoiberg's firing are not only premature but would be irresponsible fiscally. Why would Reinsdorf pay 3 coaches at one time? Doesn't make sense.

doug will never be a good defender. and unless he gets back to shooting the rock at a high %, he really has no value to this team then. kinda funny how I recall last year around this time I suggested a possible trade of doug to get a piece that could of helped us in the playoffs last season and I got absolutely blasted for mentioning it. fast forward to the present and it doesn't seem people are quite so high on dougie anymore. last season in the playoffs was the last chance this roster had at getting to the finals

no dougie hate, just dougie realism. his shooting has been good recently, but it had dropped off for a good bit from where it was to start the season. again, its not hate for the guy as much as recognizing the window was closing on us last year and it was our last chance to make a move with the current roster. to get something you have to give up something and dougs value was higher at this time last year than it is currently.

The window closed years ago on that fateful night in Philly.

Idk how you can say Doug's value was higher last year when he was getting no playing time and doing nothing with the time he was getting vs now where he has proven himself to at the very least be one of the best 3pt shooters in the league. Yeah he shot like 44% from 3 to start, but he hasn't dropped much from that point.
