Oh wow!

You're right man, lebron shut Rose down all by himself, why didn't I see it before?

You really showed me.

Where was that vaunted defense Wednesday?

oh wait!

He pretty much admitted to underestimatng JL3...WE ALL DID!

I see two rebuttals in your argument so far...

1. Lebron lost in the Finals...
2. JL3 hit a shot on Lebron

That is your argument against what Lebron did to Rose defensively? And then when shown the video of Lebron beasting in the ECF, you show the video of JL3 (who probably won't crack the playoff rotation) hitting a shot on Lebron in a regular season game.

If you watched that game...it was then that they trapped JL3 and got the ball out of his hands. That didn't happen with Rose and Lebron...

So you are drifting off the subject here...

Okay maybe.

But I did say that lebron did a great job on Rose. I just don't buy into the he shut Rose down all by himself, because that isn't the truth. He didn't play Rose for 48 minutes. He had stretches of playing good defense on Rose and they did trap Rose most of the game. lebron did funnel Rose to help.

But whatever, it's cool. That was last year and this year is a new animal. That same thing will not happen again.

Believe it or not I respect you. I don't like the way you treat people around here, but I respect you as a basketball fan. FT, to me is a troll and isn't even worth giving a thought out answer to.

Yes it is.

By your logic of posting JLIII doing more than Rose did we should be starting JLIII against Lebron in the ECF. **** Rose.

A win against the Heat is a win against the Heat and it feels good for a reason but I think Bulls fans are overlooking the fact that Miami got hit with a far more difficult schedule than we did during this shortened season.

We have the best record but then again shouldn't we have the best record when we only have a battle every 1 out of 4 games while Miami is fighting wars against good teams 3/4 games...

lol...

We have 3 more games than the Heat and no there is nothing easier than the Heat's schedule. We are playing all the year back to back games and huge road trips.

Also you forgot that DRose and Hamilton were out!

Having said that, this victory means nothing.

Maybe it was a sign that the healthy Bulls will dominate them in the ECF with an easy 4-0 or 4-1 BUT it was a regular season game.It means nothing. It only gave us an advantage for the 1st seed.Nothing more.I would say the same if they beat us by the bigger margin they can beat us (10 points).

They've never beat the Bulls by more than 5 or so points as the two teams are currently constructed. That's with injuries on both sides.

I just really want both of these teams fully healthy to see what they can do against each other. I feel the Bulls are the better team. Miami has more talent up top, but not much else after the big three.

When you say injuries you mean Deng,Rose and Rip for the Bulls and Mike Miller for the Heat?

Pointing out that the Heat continuously trapped Rose and forced him to take contested shots, as opposed to making the difficult pass (risking a turnover and a Heat fast-break) to his lackluster offensive teammates, is far from "white-knighting" Rose. LeBron James was the best player on the court, by far (on both ends), in the ECF. That doesn't mean he is the God of defense and is capable of shutting Rose down.

Except that he did.

Repeatedly.

LOL at you still trying to say it was because of traps and help defense.

LeClutch>Rose

The only reason for anyone to refer to LeBron James as "clutch" would be due to trying to be a dick. The guy is far from clutch. The Bulls choked in that series offensively (Rose included). LeBron James is not clutch and it is laughable to refer to him as that.

The Bulls' offense was also great down-the-stretch (sarcasm). There was about 3:30 left and they were up by 12 and kept putting up quick, contested shots when the defense closed in. That is what allowed the Heat to come back in the first place. Game 4 and 5, Rose choked. Rose isn't a clutch player but neither is LeBron James. Wade also had his hand in that comeback in Game 5.

LeBron is a better player and I never said otherwise. I don't celebrate that but I acknowledge that he is. Saying James is a clutch player is false though. The Bulls' offense played horribly down-the-stretch. Deng picked up his 5th foul in the last 4 minutes of Game 5 so he was put on Mike Miller (I believe) while Brewer was forced to guard James and Rose was forced to guard Brewer's man (Wade). Rose choked away Games 4 and 5 in the last seconds (missing FT's, air-balling a jumper, and getting blocked by Wade) and that's why he got as much shit as he did. The Heat defense shut him down. James did an exceptional job on him but (a) he could never dream of defending him all game long and (b) the Heat play a trapping defense and all of them overhelp on the ball because of their ability to jump into passing lanes and recover when the ball swings back to the weak-side of the floor.
