And that’s what has killed us in the tournament recently.
Without a true PG, it’s a concern.
Just don’t try to have coleman be the guy to run the offense and we can handle it.

Yeah, they’ve been pushing it tonight but have been sloppy(at times). The prior seasons had a PG but they simply couldn't hit their shots—from the 3, FTs, or even jump shots. If they can hit contested shots against Iowa State, they win.

Omaha was essentially a home game for ISU, the crowd was dominated by Cyclones fans. I’m guessing it won’t be like that in Boston so that’ll help. Iowa St has been hitting some 47% on 3’s in their last 7games(or something crazy like that). For the love of God, please don’t let Hawkins bring the ball up the court against their press D. Illinois struggles with turnovers and defending the 3. If they limit both of those, then it should be an Illinois victory. But play more Dainja, have him set picks in the full court set as they bring the ball up.

Iowa St are 2.5pt favorites. I believe the total line is at 146.5, which would favor Illinois I guess.
When taking a deeper dive into the numbers, Iowa State has not played a lot of efficient or explosive offenses. But Illinois has played a much tougher set of defensive teams.

Iowa State held Houston to 41 last week. Houston, in a sloppy game, was in the upper 80's at the end of regulation yesterday. So I am a little concerned.
But I might be more concerned with a really good offensive team vs Illini. I think Illinois will win it.
