Ayo, if that's your last Illini home game, it was a damn fine game. Coach U-Dub had them moving the ball all game. Haven't seen ball movement like that since 2005

I’ll bet the recruits Illinois had at the game enjoyed that atmosphere. I think Etienne was there. 13-7 in B1G. They outplayed their pre-season position.

Illinois 5-8 against Quad 1 (now 6-8), 4-1 against Quad 2, 2-1 against Quad 3, 8-0 Quad 4. I don’t know which school is the Quad 2 and which is the Quad 3. They both have similar records. What’s killing Illinois on NET (38) is margin of victory.

KenPom needs some tweaks, as NET does, too. Minnesota is 29 right in front of Illinois on KenPom. NET appears to pay too much attention to margin of victory. Illinois still at 38 after beating Iowa.

If Illinois handles their lower seeded opponent in the opening NCAA round, they can defeat a 2 or 3 seed in the 2nd round if they can simply hit their shots. Just don't see them lighting it up consecutive games in a row.
