Hawaii, good nightlife, great weather, awesome beaches to spend your daytime/weekends and fun tourist based jobs are available. Lots of available people on vacation... It's expensive so you will more than likely share an apartment with roommates.

Omg I would love Hawaii.

I'm tired of staying cooped inside my house for 4 months of the year.

Why? Das wut people have Netflix and video games for.... or torrents and more torrents if you are a pirate.

On a serious note, if you are an adult working full time I do not understand how you have enough free time to get bored.

Even if I max out my free time for a work day and nothing comes up like work around my house or whatever, I might get like 4-5 hours a day to myself.

Now in those 4-5 hours I need to shower, cook dinner, eat dinner, clean up which probably drops me to 3-4 hours of free time.

That is not a ton of time. And generally this is the range of free time available to your average downtown commuter living in the suburbs if I had to guess.... maybe add an hour or so for some people with shorter commutes and ideal train schedules or ideal traffic patterns.

So I have to ask.... where are you getting all this free time to get bored? Do you not have bills to pay, car to take care of, stuff to clean, food to cook, work to do, TV shows to watch, movies to see, dogs to walk, parent's/siblings to talk thru random troubles, etc?

DeToliet. Hard to get bored there considering you will probably have to fight with someone in order to get food, as there is so little there

You may not like Hawaii long term. Mainlanders say they get island fever. Prices are really high. no seasons

I'm looking forward to discussing "seasons" when you guys are at 20 below, in 3 feet of snow and it's 70 and sunny without a cloud in the sky. I do miss fall though.

In one day? I'd welcome those 2 days off work.

Yep. Lived there for 3 years. Island Fever is real.

What is there to do after a month of going to the beach? Seriously, that is all you have. Beaches full of tourists. Water splash in, water splash out. Oh, another luau.... great. Of course, if you can manage to afford living on an island comfortably, you can see the other islands.... which also gets old quick.

Don't get me wrong. I loved Hawaii, I miss it. But I'm not dumb enough to want to live there again. A vacation here and there is all you need.

While being in places that lack seasons can be relaxing, it is pretty much the epitome of boring. Nothing like a **** ton of Mexicans driving in the snow for the first time to keep you on your toes. Hell, one tried to murder me last night and it was barely even raining.

And, yeah, living in Hawaii =/= visiting. That place can be painful long-term.

Ever been in a hot tub, outdoors, when it's bellow zero? Fucking amazing and unlike anything you might think before actually trying it.
