The more I step back and see more of him, the more I realize how much he's full of shit; and himself. He's extremely arrogant with no reason to be that way. He's accomplished nothing but he's walking around like his shit don't stink.

Here he is saying "it pisses him off" at RG3's idea that Caleb should've pull an "Eli Manning" before last year's draft because of the Bears dysfunction. Turns out RG3 was right. OC and HC fired in-season. Great job breaking that cycle, Ryan.

Here he is pretending he didn't know what "disruptions and stress" Caleb went through in his rookie season:

"He's (Jim Harbaugh) the coach of Michigan."

Not putting Caleb's development at the top of this list with this new coaching hire like he isn't the most important person in this franchise:

Here he is thinking we're stupid enough to believe his lies that there were no opportunities to put good OL on this roster before this season:

This doesn't even go in-depth regarding his questionable draft and free agent strategies and overall roster construction.

He's turning over every stone in this coaching searching looking for that diamond in the rough with all these obscure coaching candidates instead on focusing on the sure things.

Believe it or not, there are still some people supporting him selecting Darnell Wright instead of CJ Stroud, Will Anderson, Bijan Robinson or Jalen Carter.

You sure about that?

  • Waldron was a trash OC and put too much on Williams plate and was also afraid to correct mistakes the team made (team repeatedly asked to be coached harder).
  • OC fired middle of season. New OC then promoted to HC and that negatively impacted the progress the new OC was making with Williams
  • Williams had 2 HCs this season
  • Williams ended up taking the 3rd most sacks in NFL history because of the TRASH OL that was placed in front of him
I think RG3 was right about the Bears dysfunction. This was actually the most dysfunctional season in Bears history given that they needed fire Eberflus mid-season because there was literally munity in the locker room.

What’s likely to be an issue is that Poles is going to have to shell out top dollar to fix the OL in FA similar to what the Panthers did. The issue will be that Poles has shown that he doesn’t spend top dollar for FAs not named Edmunds.

Hindsight is 20/20.

I'll admit I wanted to see more of Fields and agreed with trading down so we could see Fields growth in 2023.

Also, I can't complain about OL and then turnaround complain when he uses a top-10 pick on an OT.

I am sure that suggesting undrafted players demand where they play is ridiculous. Yes.

That applies to Eli and Shedeur as well.

Ryan Poles is a kid playing at GM.

It was pretty clear from the beginning that he wasn't some innovator. It still may have turned out ok, but the number of people who praised him as some great young mind was pretty crazy, considering all it took was a few minutes of listening to him to see he was just a guy---nothing special.

Not defending Pudge, but no "sure things" want to come coach here. The Bears' dysfunction has finally overruled any opportunity the job represents . . .

He lacks foresight and has not done his due diligence on some of his largest moves (Caleb, Claypool, Nate Davis)

Here's the thing: If the Bears hire someone like Johnson, Kingsbury or Vrabel (not that I love all of those options), we'll at least know they weren't being too cute and undisciplined in their search. If they hire Ben Johnson and he fizzles it, it's one of those things you can live with and be, "Well damn, I also thought he was going to be good, so I can't be too pissed at that selection."

But if they once again get too cute and pick some random person off the beaten path and it doesn't work out, that's the shit that makes you want to throw the McCaskeys and their yes-men off the top floor.

Yeah he is horrible no sane person wants him to still be here. Does he even have any supporters left?

I mean do we as fans have any choice other than to just give up on the Chicago Bears???

I still think he can grow and learn from a very rocky start to a very tough job and maybe the patience pays off and he is here for decades to come. I am giving him another coaching hire that is spearheaded by himself and the new team president instead of the assbackward way the McCaskeys handled the last go round.

If this coach flames out, so will this QB and so will this GM. Then flush the lot of them, rinse, repeat.
