He's arb eligible after next year. There have been some rumors that he might actually be open to a deal. That's not Scott Boras' MO but ultimately he works for Bryant and he may just want to go that route. His demeanor and character suggest that there are things more important to him than money. That said the kind of money we'd be talking about might change anyone so in the end we'd all just be guessing. I'll say this though, if they offered him a 10 year/$300 mil contract right now and he accepted, they might be saving $200 plus mil in the end.
That what I was thinking but in the way with the ARBs adding up at the end, if he asks for big amounts

You need a new target to stalk

Why? You make it just too easy to pass up. You're the George Costanza of the CCS. Anything that spurts out of the thing you call a brain will at some point be completely wrong. You should be proud of your list of inept observations. You and your little man-servant Taco must work over time to come up with this stuff.

Your level of ineptness literally begs to be attacked.

Between you and Parade Rain cant figure out who is the lapdog and who is the lap? Cant you ever do anything independently without nibbling his scrot?

You can't win old man...even your retorts are incredibly lame. You really need to come up with something that at least stings a little. Repeating the same tired lines makes you sound intellectually stunted...which is probably pretty close to reality.

Just curious, now that you cross posted that tired Taco story over two Forums....you might want to try the White Sox Forum next. They're more your speed anyway.

I always thought omeletepants had shit for brains, but I was recently told by his Dr Office that last time the MD looked in Ommy's right ear, he saw all the way through to the wall on his left.

Do you think Heyward contract is the worst ever? LOL Bobby Bonilla gets paid for not playing baseball.

That actually is one of the best contracts. The Mets locked up Bobby and paid him with way, way cheaper dollars. That one works for both sides really.

Nothing to argue there. Guys like Maddux, Arod tell the man what to do.

Highest I heard on harper from the media was 350-400.
Will there be a 500 million guy? A load of bread is going to run $10.

I'd still worry about injury with him not having a set position. His athleticism is going to be taking a hit in the next 1-3 years. Let him go down as possibly one of the best at whatever position he plays. Personally I am still supporting him at 3b.

Trout will sign for 10 years/$925M.
