I am thinking we smash Nashville again in Game 4, go up 3-1.... they will eek out a win in Game 5 to stay alive.... then we will smash them again on home ice in Game 6.

I'm pretty sure that's how NBC likes it. Saturday game 6 right?

The Child predators will be bringing it with everything they have tomorrow night..... don't want to go down 3-1.

I'm really glad we didn't draw Minnesota in the first round. We needed an easy team like Nashville to warm up against. Now we have to take advantage of it and win the next two so we can rest up.

If I see a plethora of wavy towels in the UC, like I'm now looking at in Winnipeg, I will call in an air strike. :hitler:

I will have my "friends" use smart munitions that will only frag those who are waving.

I wish the United Center sounded more like the MTS Centre. It would be great to have an extremely loud arena.

The same old story with the wild..trap trap trap. The way you beat that team is always the same. Score first and pry them out of that trap a bit more. Get the first two goals and the odds of winning are 90%. But loooooord ohhhh mighty never go down 2-0 to the wild or your odds of winning are 0.

Nashville is not easy. There is a reason they had more points than the Wild. I'm just cheering for the Wild/Blues to go 7 games. I agree with you in that we need to win this series in 5 or 6 games.

Now the Wild are hot, while the Predators are not, but that doesn't make them "easy".

I don't like the new playoff format. Seeds don't make a lot of sense

Grim? Is that you?

It's up now. Busy morning for me. And it took me some time to find GIFs I hadn't already used.

What a GREAT FUCKING THING that was to watch. I love watching this guy play particularly when he disrupts shit at center ice or in the defensive zone. He and Capt. Jon are really fun to watch together.

This series is pretty much over. Can't see a Weber less team winning 3 straight hell cant see the Preds with Weber doing so agains this Hawks team. I think if the series does end on Thursday the 4-1 series win is decieving as the Preds have given the Hawks a tough go of it. I earned a new respect for the Preds.

I know i shouldnt nit pick after a good win and a series that will go in the Hawks favor but just one thing. If you go into long OT's in the next round and you happen to draw a powerplay or two? Maybe take the shots when you have the lane instead of waiting for the fancy play? It's OT and you don't **** around when you have a pp in ot. I get it..I get it...the Hawks like to be calm with the puck and wait for the perfect play on the pp. But how has that worked out? Just shoot the fucking puck when you have the lane and hope for a greasy rebound. Worst thing that can happen is the goalie stops the play dead or they ice it and you have to go retrieve. Rather retrieve a puck off a shot than off a shitty pass that never finds it target.

That's all. Everything else is A-okay!!

Praise where praise is due...Rosie had an awesome night. He needs to keep it up.

Somewhat off-topic: Anyone else notice the irony that every single playoff game with a canadian team is prodcast in the states on the USA network?

Coincidence?

I think the Hawks are learning that via this series, and I'm glad Nashville is giving them that swift kick in the ass they need.

The PP is a joke, though. Bigger clown shoes than Bozo at this rate. Shoot the puck if you have it, don't be fancy with it. The rebounds will come eventually.
