Hope that dont come back to bite them in ass

Question? If Baez and Castro keep hitting, does Russell jump in the platoon because they have been outperforming him by a mile with the bat? Its something the Cubs will have to consider if he continues to struggle. This isn't middle of the season. This is playoff push.
Who knows, but it's certainly a good problem to have. Thank God we will have a DH some games when we make it to the WS :buttrock:
Why the **** is Baez running there?!?!?! God damnit. Runners on second and third would've been ideal there
Safety squeeze. Ball gets down you run. Lester has to get it to the right or left of the pitcher.
I've literally only ever seen Lester bunt it right back to the pitcher since he's been here

Doubt it. He's been great defensively. He's been basically a 12ish UZR/150 player all year at ss/2b. Keep in mind that Theo(and maybe jed was there too don't recall) traded Nomar who was an elite hitter for Cabrera to improve defense at SS.
Cabrera wasn't striking out 50% of the time in a playoff push
I wouldn't doubt that. Lester is a one trick pony. He can only pitch. He can do nothing else on a baseball field. I thought Garza was bad, but he takes the cake. He is just a better pitcher then Garza. lol
Cabrera also wasn't 21.
That has nothing to do with the playoff push.
