Not even the kids really.. Rizzo Castro Valbuena and Coghlin says hello

The kids I was referring to were the pitchers like Ramierz, Hendricks, Wada etc. The ones that stepped up big after the
big trade....which I'm sure "everyone" here just " knew" were going to do better than the top two starters they traded away.

Seems like you're getting a little too worked up about this...

I think the predictions were all pretty friendly... was someone giving you a hard time about it?

It kind of amazes me. People want the prospects held down to save money, yet these prospects are good enough to help the team win more games, AND these people "knew" that they would help win games.

But on the other hand if the Cubs lose, it's good too because they get a higher pick.

Talk about trying to have it both ways.

Why bring them up now? The Cubs won't magically win 90 games this year if they're called up in September, dummy.

If you're going to have them, at least maximize their bargain of a price to control them.

And why not have it both ways? Why would you bring them up and have them face mostly September call ups, drive their price up, and risk not getting a protected pick?

Christ, man.

Wow. Way to fit everyone in a tiny box. That's an extraordinary effort!

You're excluded. One of the few people here who can be objective. And you're the only person that can make it rain :D.

I'm curious to see what Watkins can do with more play opportunities.

Couple of things, Castillo arm is great. he is quick and strong. Our pitchers suck at holding runners. Also, I believe we should try to find something good for Valbuena and makes Watkins our UI. I have thought this for awhile.

@ESPNChiCubs: Soler only 2nd (Mandy Brook, 1925) in Cubs history with at least 10 RBI in first 7 ML games, per Cubs.
