This is a game thread. And you are failing to follow youre own point. Baez would go to third if castro went to 2nd. THAT moves Bryant to RF and Soler out.

Castro over Soler.

Ain't happenin'.
Lmao.. ok ?

Castro get traded to mets, so he gone...

Epstein decides he wants Bryant to play RF not 3B in 2016
So ????? What do you think happens to Soler

Having him in AAA isn't mutually exclusive with Schwarber. Both were on AA for over half the year. You can easily just DH one and C the other to stop some of the wear and tear.

Don't see the Cubs wasting time and having Schwarber in AAA to DH at any point baring injury

Maybe but Schwarber has been vocal about really thinking he can catch. So, this isn't quite a Boras case where the cubs holding him down would be a money like play. It would be a some what easy sell to Schwarber that while his bat is clearly ready he's only going to get the appropriate reps at C in AAA. And as I said, it would just be essentially buying for time. Now you could argue his bat's too good to not be in the line up and that is perfectly valid. I'm just saying it's an option especially if the team/player want him to C.
I get what your saying and anything possible. .

It just would be insane if they decide to keep him down in Iowa to polish up on catching and taking his bat out of lineup. .

Also, i think management prefers him in OF over C for the long haul. .

Who would've thought plucking Jackson and Rodney from the Mariners could end up beneficial for this team down the stretch

That's the cardinals in a nut shell....even when your manager makes a dumbass move, you come out smelling like a rose.
