No...
He got about 12 good yrs left, he would need to avg. 35-40 HRs.

Although he got good power, i dont see him being a 35 - 40 per guy.. i think he a 30 + at best..

500 no 400 definitely. .

He's already got 99. He'd only need to average around 33 for the next 12 years. That's assuming he doesn't play past 37. I wouldn't say he's guaranteed to be a 500 guy but he's got a chance.

Baez made them pay for testing him at 3B.

Meh thinks Baez at 3B and Bryant in RF may end up as the long term situation.

Yea your right.. i wrote 12 yrs and doing math for 10 in my head....

So, i change my mind lyrical. . He does have a chance if he can maintain a 30-35 per Avg the next 12 yrs..

If you tried to explain the game of baseball, you would fail. The Cubs light up a guy who is 15-4....and get shut down by probably the worst pitcher on the Cardinal staff.

Just no figuring this game.

Baez.....another kid that's here to stay.

Any chance Theo and Jed could draft for the Bears?

Jackson has been a sneaky good pick up though AFAIK they never have said who the PTBNL was.

He does. My post was more just acknowledging it since some seem to believe I can't praise him.

yeah, I don't buy into that crap. As fans we're allowed to criticize a player and cheer for them/want the best. Some people are weird and take all criticism as hate

Could be noone. . It was a player or cash with the international slot.. Basically they stole him..

We dont have anyone at 2nd that will unseat Soler. Baez will play 2nd. He's at 3rd because we are short on OF right now with Soler and Schwarber hurt. He's our 2nd baseman next year.

Maddon is just masterful in who plays and where....he just makes really good decisions. Everyone gets their chance and all of them are hungry when they do. That's what good managers do....haven't seen that much in this city.
