No the power surge is unsustainable and the league is going to adjust to Haelbaker and Diaz. That said anybody that thought St. Louis was going to fall off the map was being unrealistic. They're a good ball club and are going to be neck and neck with our guys all year. They might have a few larger question marks but they have a winning culture and are not without talent.

Hazelbaker spent 9 years in the minors, and Cards fans have him in Cooperstown after a hot start.

He has to pull Heyward out of the 2. We have the lead if Heyward does his job. I know its early, but he is killing us in his batting position.
Heyward is historically an awful hitter in April. Hopefully this problem solves itself in a few weeks.
