The Cards have good starting pitching and a very good bullpen. And they have scored more than any team in baseball (against bad teams).

But, man, is it nice to see them as the team that plays crappy D and gives other teams extra outs. What a beautiful twist. Their infield D sucks at all positions.

Whether Cincy or not, history shows that JHey and Zobrist will hit. Even Bryant will average out. Rizzo has even struggled. The fact that Cubs have played so well, and yet they are clicking on 5 of 8 cylinders, means good things down the way. Remember how average the Cubs were the 1st half last year?

Definitely. They had the hardest time getting guys in from third with less than 2 outs....that's one thing they're doing much better this year.

I'm not sure I like Strop being up in the pen. He's been very good but the Cards really lit his ass up last year.
