My favorite teams
so who is going to play in LF tonight? I guess it's going to be Soler
I did a shot and made a prayer for Kyle tonight that the MRI comes through clean. Great to hear it's only the ankle, but concerned with the MRI. ray:
We're like the '27 Yankees.
Gonna be known as the '16 Cubs. Need a cool nickname, though.
What if they just made the baseball version of the Super Bowl Shuffle?[emoji38]We're like the '27 Yankees.

My current guess at over/under for Schwarber being out is 3 months. When I saw it happen I was thinking ACL or broken leg and I was thinking he could be out for the season. Then I hear ankle sprain but MRI, and I was thinking a month or so. Now they're concerned about the knee too, and... I guess 3 months.
Would love to be proven wrong and he's only out a couple weeks, but... Listening to him talk after the game, while he said all the right things and I love him for his attitude, he just sounded like a guy who know he was going to be out for some time.
And before anyone jumps on me, I know he could be out anywhere from a week to the rest of the year and nobody knows including him right now. Just speculating.
EDIT: But Jesus Christ - 29 runs in 3 games and the Cards are 0-3...
If it's a bad enough high ankle sprain, he could definitely be out longer.3 months? He won't even be out 3 weeks..

Cubs magic number to eliminate Cardinals is 157
Soler is going to get an opportunity now to step up and show he an everyday player..
I expect someone to be brought up tonight or tomorrow, probably Baez if he ready.

Didn't know that..maybe Kowasaki thenBaez may not be back until Weds. He was hit in the head by a pitch in a simulation game. He could be back Monday, but they said they could give him an extra two days if he needs considering the Cubs are off Tuesday.
