Eh, winning or losing a game that long is essentially useless in any real sense. Hope that you can get a lot of innings out of Lester and get a lead and use Chatwood (maybe Kimbrel) to close it out and then rest the bullpen. Hate the fact that getaway day is essentially useless since it's West to East travel but should be ok.

Meaningless game? Yeah if they were up 10 plus games or they are the Dodgers but they aren’t either one of those so this game and every game is very important and at this rate they will be 5 games out behind the cardinals after their series next week in St. Louis. Team flat out can’t win on the road and it’s shaping up to be another 3-6, but probably worse than that road trip. Last year proved that even one game in July is very meaningful and the way the central is this year it once again is very meaningful.
