It really depends on what Almora does out there than any speculating right now. From what it sounds like Albert will see action on the corners also.

I see it as him getting to see the majors first hand and then going back down when Soler is ready. If he puts himself into a situation where he becomes indispensable or if he is given that playing time? All Maddon said is he doesn't want to let him get out of rhythm or in other words ride pine.

To be honest here I believe he will get plenty of playing time. If they were just looking for a filler they would have promoted Murton. The fact they bumped up Albert means he will get some game time in.

Machado and Ventura just threw down. Seems Ventura threw at him on purpose because they had words the prior at bat.

Tough out there for Heyward. Hit it hard but Phillies made a great play on it.

On the plus side if there is such a thing down one in the night, the cubs do have the best hitters on the team coming up in Bryant Rizzo and Zobrist.
