He doesn't get himself out for the most part by being over aggressive and takes walks..

Game like this with runner on 3rd and 1 out, he could've very easily been up there hacking trying to get run home

Ok, I get that but He threw almost 70 stressful pitches

I don't think they do that on throw day

I could see letting him face a batter or two or see how it goes as long as pitch count is down but it seems like he was out there to take one for the staff.

They lost a series against the Braves earlier in the season when they were kicking ass. Yes I will agree they have been bad lately but I not gonna label them the worst in all of baseball just yet.
