Supposedly Heyward suffered a concussion in Fowler HR sunday night, so he out for 7 days...

Baez hurting a bit with Groin, though he can PH if needed..

Guessing Caratini starting to get a LH bat in lineup and experience with Tseng from last year..

Mazzoni came up for Farrell, then Darvish went to the DL, which should have kept Farrell up here, Tseng can be sent right back down since he wont pitch again and be replaced by someone else. Sure seems like the timing of these moves are only giving us 24 guys to use.

Have we noticed that Russell plays solid D with few errors? That's kind of a big deal.

No sizzle, but lots of steak.

Farrell sucked back to back. No pity for players on borrowed time.

Same goes for Tseng. He will see action until he gets flamethrown.

So, remind me why Tseng is getting a cup of coffee, and not Alzolay? I mean, if you don't expect a lot, why not at least give the new phee-nom a quick look?

Has to do with who's on the 40-man, I bet.

This kid hasn't changed much....still intimidated by major league hitters.

You really need a special mindset to throw slow junk and get big league hitters out....Hendricks has it, this kid is light years away from it.

Joe and Fans love citing how many runs guys score. Almora is apparently not good enough offensively for Joe. So we have one more run we need to get from someone to make up for the D.

There's that man on second. Let's get him in.

We don't need three. Let's just start with one.

Tseng is expendable. Alozay is not. For starters. Talent wise Alzolay is Major league quality. Tseng lacks a plus fastball. That has been his heel. Now he did better when it up ticked to 93 and he was able to locate it but it was playing off of it with his secondary that gave him last years success.

But I doubt that they would start Alozays clock regardless. Not for a single start. If it was extended it wouldn’t happen either. They normally have a plan that they don’t deviate from. If it wasn’t Tseng it would have been Mills or tonight’s starter at Iowa.
