Hit one like last time, but to the gap. Last hit was smoked!

Caratini rounding second, looking as though he was stopping, then chugging to 3rd looked EXACTLY like the last time.

When you have little confidence in a guy, you put on a safety squeeze...

He promptly pops up the bunt

Baez and his injured groin are aboard.

Contreras to pinch run? :)

I'll take that vs any other kind of out. Get Javy off the bases.

Any W is a good W. But this one was particularly nice, with the 'pen shutting it down for seven innings.

Gawds -- seven pitchers to pitch nine innings. Baseball in the 21st century... who'd a thunk it?

I loved that, Bryant grabbed Castro belly. I hope Castro retires a Cub. He would have been so much more effectve if he had players around him. Hendry took him out the minors way too soon. One of the best eye to ball hitter I have ever seen.

He just has a knack for making the play that costs you. He's always been poor mentally, and tonight was another example. Fielded the gound ball and looked to third casually, while Bryant scored the winning run. That run does not score with Javy at 2nd. Or Zo.

Hesitation. Nonchalant play. Ballgame.

I think we all thunk it when Tseng was the emergency starter. :)

I saw some BS at home plate in the highlights. Any other drama after that?
