Yes, I know because he went exactly when the ball was hit. This isnt rocket science. This is as old as time. Heyward is one of the best base runners in the league. He did exactly what he was supposed to do. It also wasnt a direct comeback, but it doesnt matter because he broke on contact which is told to you before the pitch.

It was an easy chopper just to the left of syndergarrd
Plenty of time for him to stop and go back to 3rd instead of continuing and then stop 3/4 down to get in run down.

Yes I agree, once it was done Russell should of kept on to 3rd

Thinking about it, I'll give him the benefit of thinking Russell was headed to 3rd
