Pretty sure the cubs lead the league in players with the letter Z. Rizzo, Zobrist, Szczur, Baez

Pirates are now 14 back.... yeah seems like they might be selling this year. Both them and St. Louis have lost 4 straight. Cubs are up 11.5 on the cards.
CHICAGO -- Cubs center fielder Dexter Fowler left Saturday's game against the Pirates after the first inning with right hamstring discomfort and was undergoing further evaluation.
Fowler grounded out to third to lead off the bottom of the first and struggled running down the first-base line. Albert Almora Jr. took Fowler's place in center to start the second inning.
Fowler is hitting .290 this season with seven home runs and 28 RBIs.

Bryant swing looks so effortless but ball goes a long long way..
Reminds me a bit like Griffey Jr

Griffey and Raphy Palmero is the greatest swings I ever saw. But, Kris Bryant is 6'5 and you cant teach that.
We noticed that, too. They also weren't very quick with replay at important moments. Absolutely terrible broadcasting and they have the WS. Hopefully, they get better. On a different note when did national broadcasts get so bad? The careful scripting of the storylines makes for announcers that talk over plays, praise players at inappropriate times and when the storyline flips, as it often does in baseball, these guys are lost. When Fowler went out and Almora came in they flat out admitted they hadn't prepared to talk about Almora. Baseball is an ever changing game of moments and doesn't lend itself well to scripting. Is it too much to ask for announcers to roll with the punches and describe what they're seeing as opposed to what they thought they'd see. Shit, at very least fake it.
Everyone knows I am not a huge Almora fan because of his game on offense. But, I have never denied his defense. He is one of the best I have ever saw. His instincts is incredible.
