It's a discussion of the factual way basketball players are assigned or not assigned to positions on the floor.
It's not like I'm arguing with someone over if Amar'e Stoudamire though he played the center for the Knicks at the time was really a center or more a stretch 4 in a motion offense and getting heated about it.
We are talking about someone who not only stated Thabo Sefolosha played PF for OKC, but also defended it for posts and in fact answered an affirmative "yes" to the general question of players playing different positions on different ends of the floor.

Maybe you could've saved us all grief and server space by just saying that "Player X was assigned to match up with Player Y but obviously it wasn't working because Player Y was scoring all kinds of points, so now Player Z was brought in as a hopefully better matchup"... :lol:

there really isn't a defense that even assigns you to a 1-5 position(zone kind of depending on the variation, but zone is not thought of as PG,SG,SF,PF, and C)again, in man to man you are assigned to a person, not a position
you're trying to circumvent by playing the semantics card..

From what I've gathered...it's an extension of Rami's claim that Thabo played PF for the Thunder. He then said that they have different positions on offense and defense and then said that it's all semantics. FirstTimer is doing what he always does whenever Rami posts...Code is saying what FirstTimer is probably saying, but without being a prick about it. :elephant:
