This should be a great series. Might come down to how well Wade plays, because right now, Bosh pretty much played a better series vs Boston then Wade did

Considering Bosh only played like 2 games, that's a pretty strong statement there.

On a random note...OKC has former Bull Sefolosha so I'm gonna be rooting for him the whole series.

Screw Eddy Curry. :smug:

Last 3 games of that Celtics' series (where Bosh played):

Celtics score 94, 79, and 88.

That is the Heat defense the Thunder will need to overcome.

And the Celtics actually improved as a team after Jermaine O'Neal was lost for the season. Chris Wilcox is a scrub. Jeff Green obviously could've helped and so could have Avery Bradley. But Chris Bosh (by himself) is more valuable to the Heat than all of those guys combined. The Celtics showed themselves to be a better team than Miami minus Bosh.

Also, the Spurs swept a Clippers team with a hobbled Blake Griffin. Everybody should've seen that coming. And they swept the Utah Jazz who were easily the worst team in the post-season.

Celtics scores were always going to be low. They were the 4th worst offense this season. A big reason why the Celtics won 3 games was Miami's atrocious transition D. If they play like that against the Thunder, this is going to be a very short series. Not saying Miami's D was awful as a whole. They played well in stretches, but that's simply not going to work against a team as talented as the Thunder.

The Spurs won 20 in a row. That started before the playoffs. And it still didn't even matter, because analysts were picking them to go to 7 with the Jazz in the 1st round! They were supposed to struggle against their size. And they weren't the worst team in the playoffs either. That's nonsense. They won 5 games in a row to make it to the playoffs. Philly was the worst team in the playoffs HANDS DOWN.

102.3ppg (1), 47% FG (2), 37% 3PT (3), 84% FT (1). That's the offense Miami is going to have to stop.

Wade was absolutely horrific in that series. Actually he's been bad the entire playoffs. Yeah he's thrown up a few high scoring games, but my goodness his play has been awful. Never seen Wade like this.

Wade seems more concerned with flopping & whining than actually playing basketball. If I was Lebron, I would've berated him on the sidelines in front of everyone just like Wade did to Spo earlier in the Pacers series. I see him screaming at Chalmers all the time. It's high time to direct some of that frustration toward his butt buddy, who's been a shell of himself at times this season.

Wade has an injured knee. That is the root cause of his play. I have a feeling that if OKC wins, it will be because of that.

So do you want us to tell you who the better team is when its all over?

Ill tell you somthing right now before its over.
Wade-Bosh and Lebron are better than Durrant-Westbrook and Harden.

Who the better team is, that is yet to be truely determined starting tonight.

It isn't as though Miami doesn't have clear advantages in certain areas. This is going to be one of those series where we need to watch the games to find out who is truly the better team.

no one implied they didn't...i just think overall they're a little better(especially because they are more well-executed with coaching)

Lebron, Wade and Bosh don't need no stinking coach.
Look how far they have come without a coach already. :troll:

And the Heat only beat Indy cuz Granger was injured, and the Celtics cuz Allen was injured, Bradley was out, & Pierce sprained his knee, and so on and so on. Every team has injuries at this point, big or small.

Whomever executes their gameplan best is going to win this series. It's that simple.

Really, really, really hoping LeBron gets his ring so that topic of conversation can die a quick death.

i feel the same way too...just because i'm tired of people who are like

"DAH LEBRON SUCKS CUZ HE DONT DO IT WHEN IT KOUNTS"

when he does in every aspect of the playoffs...but it's like no ring...no dice

like the argument is has barely any basis to begin with, but if lebron gets a ring...no argument at all..i think people will finally come around and realize that the dude is pretty damn good

the conversation won't die even LBJ wins one. There will still be "he needed wade and bosh." it definitely won't go away if he doesn't win finals MVP. Even Kobe couldn't get away from it until he won one without Shaq.
