It's so odd to see a great player like LeBron fade in the biggest games of the season.

Collison gave the Thunder great minutes today.

Durant and Westy both BEASTED tonight, especially late.

That being said, the Heat are gonna be damn dangerous when they figure out how to attack.

Thabo's defense has been underrated since he came into the league, imo.

Durant is on a mission. He is not playing around. This man game is evolving right before our eyes...

Awesome game by the Thunder. All their guys played huge...Sefolosha and Collison especially.

I'll be honest, when Battier and Chalmers were knocking down all those 3's in the first I thought it would be a long game if that continued. Thunder stepped it up defensively in the 2nd and I think that's what sealed it for them along with Durant being Durant.

I thought for sure Miami was gonna win after that start. They were hitting A LOT of outside shots in the first half and I was expecting them, especially Wade and LBJ, to drive to the basket like crazy in the second half. They didn't and then got cold from the outside.

Did they fire Spo? Cuz that's probably the ONLY way this Heat team will ever win a title. 6 man rotation!? Seriously!? Bosh off the bench!? Why is this guy trying to sabotage his own team?

Credit OKC's defense. They started picking them up full court & 3/4 court, & rotated out to the shooters much better in the 2nd half. Battier & Chalmers scoring 17 in the 1st quarter is the only reason the Heat ever had a lead in this game.

IMO Westbrook was pretty bad for most of the game. If he hadn't gotten so many assists, he would've looked really bad I think.

So...next year? :smug:

Totally agree with this. I can't believe we pretty much gave him away to the Thunder, but I suppose at the time it made some sense. He's really thrived since joining them though.

OKC made very good half time adjustments..

Miami,shockingly, did not

i knew when OKC had cut it down so fast in the 3rd that it wasn't going to end well for the heat..that's how OKC operates..

The heat allowed them to cut the difference in the 3rd and Durant won it in the 4th. The heat must make some adjustments in the next game. In the 1st game they couldn't expect a better halftime. It was their opportunity to win a game on the road. But they blew it.

-I  at the post game where Jon Berry knew the game was over when the Heat were still up 4 and essentially the reasoning was Spoelstra is such a terrible coach that the Heat have no counters to what OKC was throwing at them.

-Miami can still win this series obviously but it's going to take a James/Wade combo like what we saw at the end of the Pacers series.

-Spoelstra being over matched by Brooks is hilariously pathetic.

-Wade can't check Westbrook, and both he and Westbrook know it. It's pretty funny to watch.

-Wade costs the Heat at least 4-6 points a game in transition where rather than getting back on defense he stands and bitches at the official.

Amazingly...nearly every point brought up by Rami for this game was wrong...

1) Bosh was not a problem. His +/- was negative 16
2) Perkins had 0 fouls
3) Harden played fewer minutes than Fisher (22)

Fisher had 25 minutes, Sefolosha had 29 minutes.

Sefolosha's +/- was plus 14

1) Sefolosha had 9 points, Harden had 5
2) Collison almost single-handedly outrebounded the Heat in only 21 minutes. OKC outrebounded the Heat, had fewer fouls, and gave up only 4 fastbreak points to Miami giving up 24.

The only thing I'll say here is that Harden isn't likely to play 22 minutes every game, nor is he likely to only score 5 points. The Thunder opened the game shooting horribly and Harden was a part of that. Plus he didn't play for much of the 2nd half because that lineup with Fisher, Westbrook, Sefolosha, Durant, and Collison was working so well. I have no issues with anything you said, just pointing out some observations.
