I think Page is better than everyone at guitar, but that doesn't make SRV any less awesome.

Nobody is really saying SRV is not a great guitarist. Some just don't feel he is the best, whatever that is.
I love Page, but I could never rate any guitarist as the GOAT, which is the only reason I pretend disliked the OP. There are so many amazing guitarists, across all genres and eras, that to compare and rate is doing them all a disservice. Best what, anyway? Technique, artistry, tone, or a mixture of all? Some guitarists have amazing technique, but are horrible musically. Some don't have an accomplished technique, but can communicate more sublimely. I'd rather listen to SRV than Al Dimeola or Buckethead.
