LOL at the words "fantastic" and "Boozer" being the same setence if not being followed by "failure".

I think the Bears were 7-3 at one point this year...so does that mean we had to wait until the Bears were 7-8 before we were allowed to complain about them? Kind of an odd way to go about things.

Noah IS overrated. His "intensity" is a double-edged sword. Its what makes him good, but if he drops his intensity level then he becomes a borderline NBA player. He can't just coast on his talents. I think thats what happened to Noah...he's listened to everyone praise him and he's not playing as hard.

Whats the solution to Noah being overrated? Don't rate him so highly in the first place. Duh. Doesn't take a genius to figure that one out.

What's your solution to Noah being overrated, overpaid, and bad?!

Umm......quit thinking of him so highly, don't sign him to bad contracts...and have him quit being bad?

Your hate for Asik and Noah is pretty out there. I have to admit they have no offensive game but both and solid on defense and the one of the main reasons we have the best defense in the league. Overpaid is a little bit of a long shot though since every big man in the league is overpaid besides Howard. I would rather have the combo of Noah and Asik than many other teams. Am I saying we shouldnt trade Noah. Hell no.

The era of the big man is long gone. You dont need a true big man to win a championship. BUT WHAT ABOUT THE MAVS! TYSON CHANDLER CARRIED THEM IN THE FINALS! NOPE! LeBron was awful, Wade was tired and Chris Bosh is a joke. Dirk was unbelievable and the Heat ran into the hottest team. It was tough luck that Miami didnt win last year.

If we had the chance I would get rid of Noah, let Taj start and bring Asik off the bench to handle players like Howard however far and in between those players are (to be honest the only other big man I can think of is Nene. Players like Blake Griffin can be controled to a point with Taj).

But I would have to say as much as I dislike Noah I would rather have him and Asik than every other combo besides Howard and who cares in the league.

I love the people who say that just because the Bulls are off to the start they are, there is no reason to question things. Probably the same people who thought were were going to blow past Miami because we swept them in the regular season.

That's not a complaint. It's disbelief that we've got the second best record in the NBA, despite all the setbacks teams had to deal with. Even if we aren't playing perfect, we're winning.

there's always things that need to improve or be fixed on any team period....i mean the 95-96 bulls didnt have the greatest frontline offensively....every team has its weaknesses(or simply things they are good and not great or outstanding at)

so regardless of if a team is 0 for a billion or undefeated..people will complain..hard to stop it

i will say that i think its better on the mind to be able to understand the team's deficiencies, but not dwell in them too much..and basically "enjoy the ride"....it honestly makes the sports watching experience alot more endurable..but thats my perspective

i guess it comes down to personal standards and how it relates to actuality...people with higher standards for their teams built by pedigree or their own psychological preference are often more frustrated and complain more....i still complain about my teams and get frustrated(especially duke basketball:smh:)....it happens to everyone really

and ya, the bulls are sitting pretty right now compared to some other franchises...knicks are 5-4...celtics are 4-4..the defending champion dallas mavericks are 4-5...it could be alot worse for y'all...derrick rose is really special no joke

also..noah has been pretty damn bad this year...38% shooting...high foul percentage....7 and 7(considering his size and minutes thats pretty piss poor rebounding)

his value is plummeting...idk if its wise to trade him now...i guess in a sense his age, defensive and rebounding ability, along with energy, relatively good passing skills and IQ can still be somewhat attractive

All you're doing is whining and not offering a solution.

well, the solution is obvious...its to trade him...for who and to who becomes a lot more tricky...

lets think in terms of some attractive players(especially big men)

dwight howard? no...not interested in chicago..although a good friend of boozer

melo? door has closed...not the biggest fan of this trade though(depending on the specifics of said trade)

kevin love? lol like minnesota would trade him

brook lopez? ehhhh....

bogut? now there's an option....injury prone though....you would probably have to throw in a pick or two....

nene? i think he's too good of a fit in their offense..and is relatively underrated

barganni...you would have to throw in more and he's much more of a PF than a center

marc gasol? memphis would be dumb to do it imo

al horford? lol

then what do you really have?...or perhaps you go from a different angle...fill in asik at center and trade noah along with other stuff to get a SG or something else

there arent a ton of plausible solutions regarding trade and do you really want asik starting at center? not a bad defender and rebounder...but as a starter?

I love the people who say that just because the Bulls are off to the start they are, there is no reason to question things. Probably the same people who thought were were going to blow past Miami because we swept them in the regular season.

to be fair, before the miami series no team that had gotten swept in the regular season by another team had beaten them in the playoffs i believe

honestly after the first game it looked alot like the bulls were going to blow past miami too...but they didnt

shit happens

Noah is out of shape it is pretty clear. I watched last night vs DET and he was awful he needs to get back into shape to be effective it will likely take some time.

Noah has been by far the worst player on the team this year. And that's even including JL3, who I thought was absolute trash but has recently made me eat my words. I'll agree that Noah is overrated by the majority of Bulls fans, but the dude ain't terrible by any means. He's a good center, but he's playing epically bad right now. His conditioning & timing are nowhere close to where they need to be. He's needs to turn it around quick.

The only positive is the bench guys are picking him up. Asik & Gibson have been great in the minutes they've played, locking down the interior late in games to help us pull out some victories.

The biggest problem with Joakim's game right now is.....his inability to finish strong down in the hole. Seriously, it happened several times again tonight. Derrick or somebody feeds him the ball down at the cup. All he has to do is catch, and go strong for the dunk. But once again, he's hesitant, takes a dribble or two, allows the defenders to converge, and either takes a bad shot, turns the ball over, or if we're lucky, kicks it back out to another teammate.

When guys like Dwight Howard, Amare Stoudemire, Andrew Bynum get the ball when open down in the hole, it's game over. The attack the hoop like they own it, and nobody is getting in the way. Noah has no aggression in the hole. We are playing 4-5 on offense. And if Noah isn't bringing 110% hustle and effort every night, then he's useless out there.

I didn't get to watch the game until the 4th because I was doing things around the house/work for today.....was Noah hurt? I didn't see him playing in the 4th when the Wolves were making a comeback.

I honestly think is elbow that he has wrapped is giving him a little trouble but more than that he is out of shape probably partied too damn hard... I think he will come around.. Thank god they playoffs arent before the season...

It's not the elbow. His conditioning is pitiful. Don't think I don't see you jumping rope before the games or sniffing smelling salts to get your energy up Jo. On top of that, he's playing tight because of the pressure he's feeling from his big contract extension. He needs to get his mind & his body right because right now he's virtually useless out on the floor.
