LOL at Diddy comparing him not needing smelling salts for rec league games with how NBA players should get up for games.

Bigger lulz at Crys insinuating that Noah has a pain killer addiction.

I agree that we shouldn't make excuses for Noah's bad play. I criticized him for his play against Miami but everybody was looking at and blaming Boozer. Noah was supposed to destroy Anthony, Dampier, Haslem and anybody else that played the 5 against him. It didn't happen.

He is NOT getting better. But what concerns me is that he might be getting worse.

And don't think I don't notice that some are either quiet or making excuses for him because they were such big Noah fans that you wouldn't entertain trading him for better players.

The Bulls beating the Heat was predicated on Noah's domination defensively and on the boards, amongst other issues. I think people have a right to be concerned.

I agree with this I am a huge Noah fan and I am getting sick of making excuses I keep thinking its going to be the next game when he gets on track and the same shit happens.... Its starting to get old

I'm glad I haven't made one excuse for Noah this season. He's got his head up his ass and it's hurting the team. We need him in the fourth, the first, second and third quarters. If he's benched in the fourth, then what value does he really have?

We'd be better off with Asik starting. He's been playing well and since Noah doesn't score anyway, Asik's defense will be that much more valuable to start the game with. If Asik would go up strong with the ball and stop pump faking every time he's in traffic, our team turnovers wouldn't be so high.

Asik would probably foul out of the game if he started. He's gotten less foul prone though, which is good to see. I don't think it'd do Noah any good if he got benched anyway. If he lacks the "passion" to play at the current moment, benching him would probably lose him for the rest of the season. Then you'd really have something to complain about.

nah, I don't think that has anything to do with it. Mostly because Howard realistically isn't coming here.

and if a player does start playing bad because of trade talks, that wouldn't be a very good sign. shows he's mentally weak kinda.

Alright, Noah had his first double double last night and I was bashing him, but I wouldn't tade Noah, we could and wed prbly get something in return... (I'd want a Forwad and move Deng to the 2G..maybe?? But I don't wanna trade him.

DRose did a better job of getting the ball inside to Noah. I like Rose to Noah on the fastbreak... what I'm trynna say is that the PG needs to do a better job getting easy shots for players that can't create their own shot. Rose to Noah, Wason to Asik, Lucas to Asik...cos Asik and Noah ain't got no jumpshot.

Let us not blame Rose for Noah missing shots from point blank range and Asik having to use 35 fakes when he is the tallest guy at the rim at times. Those guys should go strong and should be able to finish. That is their problem, not Rose's problem.

Yeah. My favorite was Noah in the Hawks game a week or so ago in Chicago getting the ball 5 feet from the rim with noone between him and the basket and passing the ball back out to the perimeter.

Lulz.

Brother...damn near the whole team does it. Including Rose. I have seen him do it on television myself. Maybe they had pregame naps or something, I don't know.

And with all due respect, what does YOUR basketball experiences have to do with the NBA? Lol...just had to ask...

Good post, hou,

Diddy, smelling salts give off ammonia gas, which basically triggers a chemical reaction in the membranes of your respiratory which has an effect that activates the core muscles, diaphragm, and other muscles that control breathing mechanism to work faster, thus allowing more oxygen to enter the blood stream, thus allowing your muscles to work longer periods between fatigue. (Yes, I'm was a Biology Pre-Med major)

And they are a reality of every sport...not just as an excuse to rag on Joakim Noah. His play is subpar, I'll be the first to admit (especially as a converted former Joakim hater) but his conditioning isn't the reason he's missing shots in the lane...

I believe that Bulls should try to sign one more tall guy. Both Asik and Noah are great defenders, not so good at scoring but good at free throws that is great for their position.Bulls don't depend on them offensively so their lack of scoring skills are acceptable. They should work hard to improve but what will cost us more is one injury. If we lose one of them during playoffs what happens?
