Really? that is your rebut?

I was happy when we got Frolik.

I was happy when we traded Campbell

I was happy when we re upped Crawford

So come again.

Im sorry im not :fap: to posters of brunette and stalberg.

Im sorry that I want a real 2nd line center.

This is not a vendetta, just real concerns. but keep trying tbo.

I also want the number 2 center, so your wrong...again

you have still yet to answer why you didnt approve of brunette signing and stalberg re-signing except that "stalberg sucks"

you just disagree with me on some signings, and your taking it out on here by calling me a "homer" and complaining about the hawks re-signing someone for $850,000...i think he is worth it, you dont...guess we will see on the ice this year.

Wow you cant read I guess. Read through the archives and see what I have stated about stalberg. I just didnt say "stalberg sucks".

how did that work out for you last year when I was bitching about him? oh thats right it is his first full season, my bad. 850,000 for a 4th liner is fine. Not the top 6 like some of you strokes think. the fact that you guys ***** because Q only gave him 4th line minutes last year, like what you guys say ALL the time, Il take Q's choice over yours. He is what he is, a 4th liner. What are you going to say when he sucks again? He needs more time?

Brunette had 18 goals last year, oh but he was on a bad min team right? thats the reason? hmm......why should I be excited about a 37 year old player on the wrong side of his career? you do know he is old right? I really hope you arent agreeing with rogers that brunette=ladd.

keep coming tbo.

This contract will be stalbergs proving ground, if he sucks, then he is gone...end of story

Brunette had 18 goals on a offensively challenged team...again, with more talent around him, we would EXPECT him to get atleast equal production...key term is expected, again, we never know...but you saying that he will suck is totally ignorant because we have no idea how he will perform until they hit the ice...you gotta let it play out

Im not gonna keep coming because its dumb to argue about this...we just disagree on a few players, and we will let them play before we judge them...

The only reason im responding to any of this because its really fucking stupid of you to challenge my hockey knowledge because I dont go to games (when I live in Arizona) and call me a homer because I approve of the moves Bowman has made and you didnt...

Its dumb to argue over players when neither of us will be proven right until the season is over...

LOL at Jesse Rogers. Brunette isn't even close to Laddy.

The dude can barely out skate John Scott.

on one point. Patrick Kane. So to say I do that with all debates is false.

It doesnt matter what bowman does, he could have signed lionel richie to play 2nd line center and you would be

Still makes it stupid...of course I cant go to games when im in Arizona...

Not true...once again, look through the archives and see how many times I said we need a #2 center, and how I said I like the carcillo signing only if he plays like he did in Phx

I do know that icehog and tblow dont really go to games, this is where you see the kane issues that are not caught on camera. he will take whatever shot and the minute the puck goes the other way, there is a shot on goal against us and kane is first getting back to center ice. Im not sure how many games people attend, but i see it all the time.

The thing about a lot of chicago fans is the fact that they get very sensitive when their team gets anything negative reported, and or other fans views that are negative.

If you look at the trend here, you will see guys like tbo thank posters here that say something positive. if there is anything negative said, you get the "lulz" and the "you jelly" internet responses of people that have no opinion or rebut on the topic.

I disagree alot with everyday im buff, but we rarely just type "lulz" and "zomg u jelly" responses.

but back on topic, he isnt a 2 way forward, but he does need to stop falling asleep when his shot doesnt go in.

That has got to b the dumbest thing I have ever heard.

Since I never said anything about him backchecking I will point out what southerncross was saying. He simply pointed out Kane's game isn't backchecking, he cherrypicks and looks for an odd man rush situation. By doing this defenders have to stay back and keep an eye out fo him at all times. Since Kane is top line talent, and he does this, he usually keeps other teams top defenders from contributing in the offensive zone.

Joecawks is rubbing off on you, you leave out that he had 46 points, played 12 NHL full seasons and 8 of those he finished with 50+ points. The other 4 where 49, 46, 46, and 31 in his first full NHL season. H finishes every year with more assists than goals which shows hes not afraid to share the puck, and is someone who can get Hossa on the score sheet more. You also leave out how effective he s on the powerplay with his body in front of the net.

With Hossa, and possibly Sharp on his line, his passing ability will be great

Yeah but only goals matter, so he will probably end up being a "shit" player

He has also only missed 8 games since the 2000-2001 season..he is durable as hell

Right, because actually seeing other variables to the game that people dont see on tv is so "dumb"

Oh he cherry picks now, thats the reason. How many break aways and odd man rushes did Patrick Kane have last year because of cherry picking? Please find footage where the cherry picking was the actual cause for the odd man break. 1 or 2 videos in a full season wont cut it.

Oh, my bad. I guess being old, and on the wrong side of his career doesnt mean anything, I guess he will continue to have those numbers regardless of age. ok.

So which brings me to the point about andrew ladd and tblows comments. The thrashers ranked 20th is offense, and 25th in the league in points. Ladd had 29 goals and 30 assts. So if Ladd was on a better team he is a 35-40 goal scorer? please. Why do I say that, because there is no sure thing that an aging Vet is going to have a numbers spike going to a better team.

goals and assts matter when playing in the top 6.

stating that brunette will be better going from min to the hawks. If you could read you would see that andrew ladd scored 29 goals and had a career year going from chicago to a shit atlanta team which ranked 20th in offense and 25th in points. so this whole thing about an aging vet that is now going to a good team is kinda of Special person.

Common sense...

Its common sense to believe that your offensive production would go up with better players around you...

The Blackhawks signed a lot of veterans for this year's team.

If they don't work out, they're under mostly short-term contracts with little cap hit going forward.

I think everyone on here wants the Blackhawks to win, and we all have different beliefs on how that should be accomplished. I think the Blackhawks made good moves going forward with cap space, but we'll see.

Toews, Hossa, Kane, and Sharp can make players around them better, along with Keith and Seabrook.

I think thats it...just a difference of opinion on what this team needed from last year...obviously dewey and I disagree
