Common sense...
Its common sense to believe that your offensive production would go up with better players around you...
because the line brunette played on last year was so bad

Right, because actually seeing other variables to the game that people dont see on tv is so "dumb"
Oh he cherry picks now, thats the reason. How many break aways and odd man rushes did Patrick Kane have last year because of cherry picking? Please find footage where the cherry picking was the actual cause for the odd man break. 1 or 2 videos in a full season wont cut it.
Oh, my bad. I guess being old, and on the wrong side of his career doesnt mean anything, I guess he will continue to have those numbers regardless of age. ok.
So which brings me to the point about andrew ladd and tblows comments. The thrashers ranked 20th is offense, and 25th in the league in points. Ladd had 29 goals and 30 assts. So if Ladd was on a better team he is a 35-40 goal scorer? please. Why do I say that, because there is no sure thing that an aging Vet is going to have a numbers spike going to a better team.
goals and assts matter when playing in the top 6.
Brunette and linemates Antti Miettinen and Mikko Koivu had played well in spurts this season, combining for 16 goals and 28 assists. They just weren't consistent enough, particularly over the past few weeks as the Wild stumbled through a 1-5-2 stretch that sent them staggering toward the bottom of the Northwest Division.

Ladd went from being a 3rd line forward with Bolland to being a top 6 in Atlanta. As for Brunette whatsage got to do with it, he puts up nealry 50+ points per year, sounds like a consistent palyer, but yet because stats proveotherwise you have to bring in age, and all these other stupid comments you say that havenohing to dowith what we say
He only had 8 more points than Frolik.
right because age is not a huge factor in the NHL.
No, he has been consistent his whol career, and look at theguys whole played a an older age, Recchi, Chelios, etc.
And thank for bringing up Koivu, the only offensive weapon Minnesota had last year. Koivu went down for a bit last year with a hand injury and mssed like 9-10 games. He alsorushed himself back and playedbut wasn't producing like he should have. Brunette woul have probably topped 50 points for th 9th time in his career if Koivu would have stayed healthy.
He only had 9 more points than Bickell.
and he will be signing for much less than Frolik, so your point?

get ready for some for making sense
Lets use points since "they are important for top 6"
Koivu and Mietinen combined for 97 points in 71 and 73 games respectively
Sharp and Hossa (his presumed linemates here in Chicago) combined for 128 points in 74 and 65 games respectively
you are just as fucking stupid for agreeing with that non sense of a post. chelios compared to brunette. that is classic.

cmon dewey...you brought this up.....
he will clearly be playing on a better line
so his numbers should go up because of that right? I mean koivu didnt spoon feed brunette at all right with his 45 assts?
