With the year they had in terms of coaching it's more surprising if any of the players prepared at all.

david kaplans morning show has been "fire poles" for the last 2 months.

Guy is the definition of ill prepared. Legit every single show is the same fucking topics 5 days a week for months.

Poles blasting Caleb for being the reason that he was sacked so much, and now the media flipping on him and comparing him to Kwame Brown.

Hmmmm

Kaplan is a hater.....he also hated JF and wanted the Bears to get rid of him

No...He was the justin fields meatball fan club leader. Same with the mitch trubisky nuthugger club leader.

He only started to hate fields once it was apparent the bears had caleb williams locked up.

Guy is the ultimate flip flopper.

There's been some alluding to it elsewhere - and truthfully this has to fall at the feet of Poles because they gave him Tyson Bagent as his backup for not giving him a vet leader who's done it before.
They tried that with Fields with Dalton and Flacco.. Fields told them to get fucked

That was just Foles who wanted nothing to do with being here at that point.
Your right it was Dalton and Foles, but no it was Fields that wanted nothing to do with either of them

If Caleb's development is dependent on his backup QB, then that's a problem in itself. Wasn't Mark Sanchez on the Bears payroll for like 3 years?

NFL teams oftentimes pair a young QB with a vet. The Bears most recent approach is abnormal.

Caleb’s also petulant, whiny and not very intelligent. Or at least not nearly as intelligent as he thinks he is.

Uh oh, a respectable media media has talked bad about the beloved

Whomever wanted to bus toss Caleb to Kap, they're a little late to be doing that at this point. Everything fell apart on this team a long time ago at all levels way before it's appropriate to attack him. While I'm more than willing to hold Caleb accountable for failures this reeks of desperation until we see it being a categorically undeniable problem.

Was it Collinsworth who mentioned that Bagent could teach Fields something? I'm guessing George took that to heart

I don't know about the first two, but I spent most of the season questioning Caleb's intelligence on the football field.

It was a bad OL and a worse offense. Still, really concerning the elementary quarterbacking he was failing on.

The situation at the end of the Detroit game is a massive red flag that is he not cognitively up to the challenge of being an NFL quarterback.

What playbook? The one everybody hated and Brown mostly pitched when he took over? OK
