But did you see the arm angle he put on that incredible pass that traveled five air yards past the line of scrimmage?????
Only 1-2 qbs can miss that throw!

Kaplan is one of those Bears media guys who rides the "Bears QB always sucks" gravy train for easy clicks, views, etc.

The worst thing that can happen for guys like him is taking away the lazy narratives and them having to speak intelligently on Bears football for a change.

So he's trying to convince good coaches to stay away, as are some other media - they fear their gravy train is in jeopardy.
He called Mitch and Fields “the guy” and “studs” before their final seasons when it was obvious the bears were gonna move on and he’s hyped the hell out of Caleb.

Nice try as always, CCSs biggest liar.

Yea. Kap led the fucking mitch and fields bandwagons.

He just now acts like he hates them and never likes them because he has dementia. Guy forgot what he ate for breakfast this morning.

Why is the first reaction to just dismiss everything like there is no way this is true lol

Aren’t you guys sick of coping? They have 17 games to shut the media and fans up maybe start doing something in those 17 games to do that

As with everything relating to this fucking dumpster fire this season I don’t really blame the players for checking out some towards the end of the season.

There's been some alluding to it elsewhere - and truthfully this has to fall at the feet of Poles because they gave him Tyson Bagent as his backup for not giving him a vet leader who's done it before.
Isn’t Bagent an extremely hard worker by all accounts?

I don’t think Kaplan works hard enough and any idiot with a mouth at your local bar could be him. Take that.

Even if he is - he has zero credibility in terms of being an established NFL QB.

Poles gave both Fields and Caleb the following:

-Garbage ass Eberflus who taught them to be risk adverse
-No vet QB presence to help guide them through the NFL experience
-Bad OCs/a bad OL coach
-Terrible interior OL so they can consistently face pressure up the middle

Kaplan is a hater.....he also hated JF and wanted the Bears to get rid of him
No...He was the justin fields meatball fan club leader. Same with the mitch trubisky nuthugger club leader.

He only started to hate fields once it was apparent the bears had caleb williams locked up.

Guy is the ultimate flip flopper.

Check @6:16 ..... @14:38....@15:06 ( Kaplan, Johnson response).......@17:19 ( Kaplan ....Johnson response about JF @ 17:40 ) @17:51 ( Kaplan with the throw the ball narrative)

Kaplan is like the Chicago version of Skip Bayless without the 14 counts of sexual battery

i think what he is saying(i could be mistaken) is that caleb progressively slowed the work ethic down as the season tanked worse and worse. no clue if it is true, just clarifying what i think the claim is

cant say it would be surprising if true, i think most here can understand putting in less effort as things get more gloomy at work
Which playbook? He seemed to know the 1st one pretty well and the 2nd one was being made up as they went along... based off the 1st one. The entire team lacked focus and direction and Thomas was not ready for the load giving after Thanksgiving. He was fucking up the end of games just as bad as Flus but at least he had an excuse due to being thrown into deep end with weights. Thomas had way too much on his plate but Flus had to go. Just a typical Bears FUBAR situation.

That said, CW had something like a 95 rating over the last 8 games with only one stinker below 86 where he was sacked 7 times so it sure sounds like Kap is just being controversial for clicks as usual.

There's no question the CW has some work to do but he needs better tutoring and I'm not concerned about his effort.

Kap has proven time and time again he has no sources at all. This isnt the first time he said he had a "report" inside the bears locker room for it to just be bullshit.

I honestly would not take anything an ESPN 1000 radio host says to be true, especially after silvy said multiple bears veterans asked for tyson bagent to start..when the team was basically already out of the playoffs anyways.

This is weeks old now and apparently had no wings. I'm just late to game on this one.

There's been other reports that Caleb wasn't the most prepared. Hard to say who's fully at fault but there's questions about his professionalism.

Not in that video you just linked, sounds like poles is saying the prior coaching staff completely botched his development, instead of focusing on the basics they figured he was already elite and put way too much on him.

This was pretty clear to everyone, too. You watch nix and jayden and their offenses are a lot less complex and they are asked to do a lot less. Waldron, or whoever the eff made the call, decided caleb was ready to lead a complex nfl offense like a veteran from day 1.

Look, Kap is constantly over emotional. He's one of the absolute worst in the media. Nothing about the man seems authentic.

I'm guessing in his private life he is the most milquetoast individual you can find.
