if your into takin trips just for that sort of thing the new river gorge area of wv is a perfect place and setting for that but I warn ya there is whitewater up dat way as well so plan your route

I've rafted on the New River gorge. Lots of class 2 and 3....maybe a little 4 if I remember correctly. Amazing scenery. Also remember the huge fucking bridge. West VA is a beautiful place.

we were gonna go kayaking when we were in colorado this past weekend but time got away from us.

Instead, we rented a pontoon boat, and so there I was, piloting my wife and 5 of my in-laws around the reservoir, feeling pretty bad ass, but thinking we felt a little "front heavy" because everyone was sitting in the bow. Then the boat pitched forward and water started coming in the front gate. I killed the motor and was convinced I was about to drown my in-laws, my wife, and myself. Luckily, I convinced some people to move to the back and we didn't sink no more

no worries, limabro. It was pretty damned nice, 4 days in a big-ass house with no neighbors (but in-laws) at 9,500 feet. I got the worst sunburn of my life, though.
