Anyone here into it? Went today in one of the springs and had a blast. Water clarity was amazing. Saw a bunch of wildlife, including a few gators. Pretty cool.
Been considering buying one of my own so I can go out whenever I want without renting. Would also love to go on a multi day trip and do some primitive camping along the way. Only thing is, I'm not sure my back can take it. After a few hours I usually get pretty tight / sore in my lower back. Looking around on the Internet seems like posture, technique and flexibility work could solve a lot of those issues. If anyone has some advice on that last bit it would be greatly appreciated.
ok so wait you jumped off that?
ya they have a bridge party down that way u used to be able to pay and bungy off it but im pretty sure they stopped it some years ago
I wanna see you base jump off that bad boy.
lol no ty I was in my early twenties when I did that shit back then I was all jacked up on mtn dew I don't have the nerves for that kinda shit no more
Ive owned 7 different kayaks and used to kayak to work daily when I was in Hawaii. I hate wide ones because they are so slow and barge like. My favorites were a scupper pro and a Cabo (tandem) both made by Ocean Kayak. I bought all but one off craigslist.
we were gonna go kayaking when we were in colorado this past weekend but time got away from us.
Instead, we rented a pontoon boat, and so there I was, piloting my wife and 5 of my in-laws around the reservoir, feeling pretty bad ass, but thinking we felt a little "front heavy" because everyone was sitting in the bow. Then the boat pitched forward and water started coming in the front gate. I killed the motor and was convinced I was about to drown my in-laws, my wife, and myself. Luckily, I convinced some people to move to the back and we didn't sink no more
lol sure (I don't drink it any more but may as well)
It's got a trolling motor brah, that way Nvan can puff on his E-cig and chill.
no worries, limabro. It was pretty damned nice, 4 days in a big-ass house with no neighbors (but in-laws) at 9,500 feet. I got the worst sunburn of my life, though.
Lake Dillon?
