Derek Carr is not arguably better than Stafford. It will be a surprise if Carr is starting games week one for any team.

A 29 year old qb, who is arguably better than stafford, with a lower cap hit makes no sense?

Got it.

Like I said, its a hot take. Or would you rather I just repeat the same garbage you hear on espn?
Why would we need to turn on ESPN to hear garbage when we can read it from posters like you on here?

Based on Pace track record and some really smart posters around here, I smell a qb room of:

Nick Fools
Gardner Minshew
Tyler Bray
And some projected udfa that we trade future picks for and draft in the 4th round....who we quickly realize sucks and gets put on IR in August with a "season ending injury"

And somehow we'll trade away our 2022 #1 pick and finally end up with a top 3 pick and be stuck with no pick.

Jags-Lawrence
Jets-Wilson
Det-Fields
Car-Lance

SF-Stafford
Hou-Watson
Dallas-Dak
Indy-Darnold

This would be my best guess.

Ultimately I dont think Deshaun Watson or Tua Tagovailoa get moved.
I think Watson definitely does. He seems to have no thoughts of staying in Houston. Not sure about Tua. Apparently Jets are now Watson's top choice and Miami is second.

Lots of moving parts....I'll start with these

Jags Lawrence
Texans Fields

Jets Watson
Indy Stafford

In this scenario i could see Pace ending up with Darnold and selling him as the future (although I think their ideal target is Carr)

How's Rick Mirer looking these days? Can he still throw a tight spiral?

Calling Carr arguably better than Stafford makes no sense

He has started 165 games for the Lions since being taken No. 1 overall in the 2009 draft, completing 62.6% of his passes for 45,109 yards, 282 touchdowns and 144 interceptions. He led 38 game-winning drives during his career and 31 fourth-quarter comebacks -- making him one of the better comeback quarterbacks in league history.

He's tied for eighth all time in game-winning drives and seventh in fourth-quarter comebacks.
