Outcast has been decent so far (only seen the first three episodes). It's a horror demonic possession kind of series; I'd link the IMDB but we know that kind of thing is frowned upon around here...

I did not read the whole thread so idk if this has been discussed. But the wife and I just binge-watched all five seasons of Boardwalk Empire in a few weeks and it was very good.

As an aside, I knew this thread was in here somewhere but the search function on this board is so horrible it took a half hour to find it.

I really liked Boardwalk Empire. My favorite character was the bad agent turned gangster. He was such a bad-ass.

Peaky Blinders has also been very good, if you can decipher the dialogue. "Sherlock" could not hold my interest past two episodes. Impatiently waiting for the last season of Penny Dreadful to become available on Neflix without a Showtime subscription.

Whats the story line? When is it on, please?

AMC Sundays at 8.

A small town Texas preacher who, was a bad ass criminal and now has been given a special ability by something or someone. His Friends are a ass kicking little lady named Tulip and a 114 year old Irish vampire that is funny as hell. The citizens of this little town are mostly psychos.

It is completely weird and twisted, but well worth it. It's produced by Seth Rogen and his writing buddy Evan Goldberg, they do a voice over commentary on each episode that shows up On Demand it's pretty funny. Obviously watch the regular episode before the commentary.

No idea. I watched the first two or three episodes and couldn't see where all the praise and awards could be coming from.

Netflix:

Marco Polo- 2nd season comes out July 1st. Mongolian empire with a bunch of interesting story lines and decent acting. 100 eyes is the shit

Hell on Wheels- great western series. I think there's like 5 seasons.

Skins- good series to watch with a lady. It's about a group of fucked up teens in England. Drugs and sex.

Showtime:

Billions- new series first season was pretty good though.

House of Lies- Don Cheadle and Kristen Bell headline the show and it's pretty funny and really well acted. I think they just finished their 5th season.

Penny Dreadful- A horror series headlined by Eva Green and Josh Hartnett. It's a little slow but a cool throwback type of horror. The series competes with GOT so I thinks it's overlooked a little.

Homeland- Kind of a spy thriller but with very few shoot 'em up scenes. Headlined by Claire Danes.

Ray Donovan- Irish gangster for hire.

HBO:

Games of thrones- totes mcgoats obvs bro

True Detective- completely different story lines in both seasons. Star studded casts.

Band of Brothers- anybody who hasn't watched this needs to. 10 part mini-series produced by Tom Hanks and Stephen Spielberg made right after Saving Private Ryan and is just as good IMO.

That's just few off the top of my head. I only watch Netflix, Showtime and HBO via appletv so I'm really into all the series.
