This is an example of why I like animals more than I like most people. ‘An abomination and a disgrace;’ Humane Society calls for end to killing contests in IL

TBF they were reducing coyote populations.

But I get it, I wish my neighbors were running from coyotes as they try to walk their 8lb obese-rabbit-dogs, too.

I get why other people worry about coyotes... my departed Stepmother used to demand I take a broom handle when myself and my Dad walked the dog around a nearby lake path, to defend against coyotes.

I suppose I just figure, if I am out in the world, and I cannot figure out, as a man, how to outsmart or intimidate coyotes, I may too have to resort to just shooting the *******.

Like if they gang up on Rango tell me you not ripping your shirt off and whipping out the Walking Dead rural homestead unlimited ammo shotgun.

Diesel seems to have hypocalcemia. Anybody else dealt with this with cats? We're really hoping it doesn't indicate renal failure.

Never heard of it until now. From my search it looks like it can be managed once the vet gets the levels correct. I hope things go well and please keep us informed on how the treatment works out.

We’ve tried but it is tough and expensive, and one of our cats is about to die anyway after consuming it

That's terrible. I was looking into pre-packaged stuff because I'm not comfortable doing it on my own because I don't want to give him something he can't handle. Hopefully your cat pulls through.
