Well please dont, wouldn't want any excuses

Are you twelve? Lets fight because I think it's a great idea to give a KHL player a contract and play top line minutes when he doesn't produce in the NHL. That's brilliant!

we are talking about a player born in 1982. so that "old player" logic doesnt fit the arguement but come again.

I was really just being a dick head with this comment

marcel was a first round pick by montreal....16th overall.(but i guess he sucks)

only reason he was sent down was conditioning when he decided to go back home

Not once did i say it was over him, Its because of your stupididty remarks. You clearly have not stated 1 good reason why he shouldn't be in the NHL. The guys has been a 3rd line center playing in Montreal behind Koivu, Perrault, and Dougy Gilmore. Then in NewYork played behind Straka, Cullen, and Nylander. All during this time these guys where in their prime therefore Marcel was put on the 3rd line because of his size and defensive abilities like his brothers. Then he goes to the Winter Olympics and produces along with his brother against the worlds greatest players & goaltenders, but he cant cut it in the NHL because i'm a ****** and said he had 18 points

I didn't call you a ****** but yea he's never produced in the NHL and I don't want him on one of our top lines just because he's Hossa's brother. The thing I keep pointing out is that he's been good in the KHL doesn't mean he can do anything here in the NHL.

Like I said we all have our own opinion and I wouldn't but non of us are the GM so if Stan decides to do that then that's what I have to live with.

Hes proved hes an offensive player. When in the NHL he was used for his defensive capabilities because of his size. Which means hes never been able to get that chance to show his top line capabilities. In Juniors he puts up offensive numbers, then he goes to the KHL and gets top line minutes and produces. He goes to the Olympics and Produces on a top line. Argument over given the chance he can produce

Why hasn't any other team signed him yet then if he's just an offensive force? And I'm not being a dick just honest question to think about. If he is so skilled and such a force every team in the NHL should be fighting over him right now.

Like someone else said, No one knows his salary demands, he may just want to stay close to home. Thats why Dewey posted this and asked what thoughts are. Then we give them and because someone doesn't agree with you, you call them stupid and critisize them. Until you give me a good reason on why he shouldn't be in the NHL because he was a 3rd line player and could only produce 18 points, go **** yourself

there is about 25 guys that are nhl worthy and would be great additions to any team. Alot and I mean alot of nhl players would rather play in the KHL. The KHL is loaded with talent for scouts to watch, but they arent able to nab them mainly because they love the KHL. Even guys like OVIE and kovalchuk have contemplated just playing there. nabakov said **** the nhl im just going to go to the khl. nabby would be a number 1 on most teams and that includes your blackhawks.

The thread is made because of his brother and how well he plays alongside his brother.
