McNutt has been pretty good through a few years though..

But the Rays really don't have a 2nd baseman better than what the Cubs have. But I do like Sean Rodriguez over what they have now.
Also, I would love to have Upton but where will he play?? Def when Jackson is expected to be called up.

So, the likely hood up the Cubs acquiring Upton is very low.
But I also wouldn't expect if it wwere to happen id the Rays perspective: Have enough OF, sick in tire of Upton, had poor stats and getting a raise because of arb. That will save money.

I think Lee is a bigger loss than that. The whole plan appears to be to move Castro to 2B and Lee to SS.
Lee right now is probably Elvis Andrus with a little less bat. Lee has a major league glove and speed, just probably cant hit a 700 OPS right now.
Losing Lee will suck, unless we get back a MI.

Upton did play IF when coming up. Would Hendry try that? Cant be worse then Dewitt at 2B D wise

Your right he was a 2B. It will be nice because he would be the Cubs leadoff hitter and maybe Rudy can help him.

Matt Garza is a good pitcher. Prospects are meant to be traded unless they are elite. These guys are average.

1 GM told Kaplan the Cubs made a solid deal for Garza. Spects are good but not elite.

BS trade...i think its great trade...plus you get 2 specs back to help farm out...Archer was nothing in CLE but once in CHI he became something...so maybe 1 of 2 become something.
