I said I liked the deal. how the hell is that saying we got an ace?
I was pointing that more at daddies than at you.

Sorry, but you guys seem to think the Cubs got themselves an ace and gave up nothing.
I think the deal itself is fine.
But I am a firm believer in tinstaapp.
Sorry for the poor typing.
A) im drinking
B) im at a Christmas party
C) obviously I'm quite bored
He has done nothing....OK..
Then how did we lose the Pierre deal, since BR has Nolasco at basically even-steven 0.0?
i wasnt saying that, i misread poodskis drunk xmas ass
In what?
There is no such thing as a pitching prospect

I just want to say I hate this trade a ton. Garza doesn't miss bats, and is now pitching on a much worse defensive team. He is a bulldog on the mound and will eat up innings, but how doe she help the Cubs right now?
And the package the Cubs gave the Rays is much better then the one the Brewers gave the Royals for Greinke, and Greinke is a much better pitcher then Garza.
Hendry is reaching for something to save his job, and in reality I think he just hurt himself in the long run.

How'd this mean Szczur is choosing baseball?
Not true.
Starting with the prospects, I love this trade for Tampa Bay. They got more for Garza than Kansas City did for Zack Greinke, although their package of players is, collectively, further away than what the Royals got. It looks to me like the Rays focused less on position and more on overall value.
