Juan Pierre deal. Ricky Nolasco looks pretty nice in Florida.
No, but he brings us closer. I don't think we're all that far away. Sounds like I just gave myself an article idea...
How can you say this is a bad trade before all the players have even been mentioned? That's flat out stupid. Not to even mention, ZERO games have been played. In a deal of 8 players, in which 7 of them are prospects, you can not say that it is extremely good or extremely bad when ZERO games have been played.
That's really ignorant. Name one bad trade Hendry has had. Game, Set, Match.
Pierre.
Maddux.
C-patt (questionable)
Those of the top of my head were terrible.
Oh the wuertz trade too.
But if the Cubs traded Randy Wells, you could call it horrible, right?

He'll find a way to say those don't count.
A guy who is a year older than Garza, but has 10+ wins in 4 of his first 5 seasons.
:lmao:12/7/2006 – Cubs trade Josh Hamilton for Cash.
What was the whole trade? I forget who was in it.

Really?!?! and REALLY?!?!?!!
Awful post.
@Poods, I forgot to quote your post, I think it depends on which WAR you use, right? BR has Nolasco at like 0.1 and FG has him at like 12. I hate the inconsistency between the two.
No, that's because we have Pujols.
I like this and I'm not a prospect hater. While Arch has value to us, he has had one good year of control. That could very easily change. To every scout out there he is nothing special. His ceiling is about a 2, which is what we have with Garza right now. I like the deal.
ATTENTION: Article on this coming soon!

casey maghee FTW
BR is more reliable, if you mean Baseball-Reference, but FG seems to be the trend right now.
So, there are multiple variations of the WAR formula?
I don't think BR is more reliable. I forget what it is, but like BR doesn't give credit to luck and FG does? I don't remember, but there is some big factor in there. Gosh, this is gonna drive me crazy.
CO, you talk Hendry like he's some god.
