Unconfirmed rumor: The pitcher the Cubs could recieve is either Matt Moore, Alex Torres, or Braulio Lara. They are all in the Rays top spects for '11 according to BA. Their stats in the minors are good and all of them could be better than Archer. But not as close to the majors as Archer.

No Hellickson, but it helps me cool down a little.

Don't like the trade, but have to wait for an official announcement of 3rd player going to Cubs before I can make a final decision (as to how bad I think it is, still won't really like it that much wither way).

Z-has won over 10 games in every year but 1 in his career.
Demp-has had 3 straight good years
Garza- jump to NL should be huge for him
Wells- if we can get middle between Rookie and Soph. year then be high 3, low 4 ERA for SP
Silva- WONT BE SP
1. You continue to use W-L as a reputable stat and you're a fucking dumbass for using it.
2. What makes you think Silva won't be in the rotation? Please don't tell me you're going to use W-L and ERA as your argument.

Dude won 15 games in ALE...that counts for something. Now going to NL he dont have to worry about DH. His ERA should go down by .50 points....
More use of the W-L "stat" :obama:

Daddie's "arguments" are fucking awful. He thinks prospects are only meant to be traded and the Cubs should at $50 mil to their payroll

I know. He hates spects and thinks money should be spent on old aging players.

He's on his third team already at age 27.

So what?

He's a good pitcher in a great offensive division. Now he's going to have the opportunity to pitch in a much weaker offensive division. We're giving up mediocre-to-good prospects that are unproven for someone who is proven, in addition to adding some stability to a very inconsistent starting rotation.
