SP wins....cubs can find offense. ASK SFG about that

You mean how they barely won their division? Put the Giants in a good division and they don't make the playoffs.

I mean how did the Padres and A's do?

Really. WS champs you make fun of cause not in good division. To win WS you have to win Division. Doesnt matter how bad or good. So if Cubs win bad division but win WS you wont give them credit cause division sucks?

RT @SI_JonHeyman: rhp chris archer and ss hak-ju lee are top prospects going to tampa. but #cubs kept cashner, colvin, castro, jackson, mcnutt
RT @Buster_ESPN I have heard some people who think Lee could be as good/perhaps better than Castro if he fulfills potential
RT @SI_JonHeyman: appears hustling outfielder sam fuld, great kid, also going to tampa in garza deal.

I agree.

Garza does improve the Staff. I think we all can admit the AL East iis far superior to the NL Central. If Garza can win in AL East he should be much better in the NL Central imo

If the Cubs did it with essentially 3 pitchers like the Giants sure. The Giants are set up for the playoffs, that's pretty obvious.

Regardless if what you are saying is correct it would have been the Giants and the A's in the WS and well that didn't happen. Just because the Giants won the WS means that the only thing that matters is pitching.

Jesus Christ.

I thought we were to the point where we realized wins don't mean anything.

Also on of the players we are getting back is Fernando Perez.

Ivypickin87 and I played against Hellickson in high school. We played his team the day after he got drafted and he showed up late for the game with a box of Devil Rays gear for his teammates.

Just sharing a pretty cool moment.

2 things. Getting 27 y/o SP to help now and future is not a loss....We wont really know how deal turns out for 2-5 years. Cubs gave up PROSPECTS. If all 4 of them dont turn out we got a steal. If all 4 turn out then we lose. Prospects are called prospects for reason. Prospects = HAVENT DONE SHIT!

OK whatever you say...it's nice to have Garza but the Cubs prolly could of got Greinke for this deal. And I think Greinke is better but more expensive. I don't think this helps too much and wth helf is the point of getting Perez. Fuckin pointless.

Not saying prospects not usefull. They were very usefull today. Got us a SP that has been PROVEN in ALE. Thats the idea. Bring up the guys you think can help: Castro,Colvin,Cashner,Soto,Marmol,Marshall,Wells. Trade other specs to get PROVEN MLB guys.
